RELIABLE AND EASY INSTALLATION Direct installation on top or connecting vessel. Installations in communicating vessels. Installations in communicating vessels. Principle of Operation The guided wave measurement system is virtually immune to interference from secondary echoes caused by tank walls, and other obstacles in the process. The transmitter emits a pulse in the waveguide that will travel in an annular motion along the guide until it meets the level of the product, by the laws of physics part of the wave will penetrate the product and the rest will return to the transmitter that will measure the time between the transmission and return. This time difference will be used to calculate the distance of the product, therefore its level. Benefits of Radar Robustness in the installation. Direct product level measurement, immune to density, temperature and pressure. Suitable for aggressive atmospheres, exposed to vapors, dust and pressure. Easy maintenance and cleaning of waveguides and insulators. Self-calibration system, making maintenance easy for users. Ideal for tanks and or process equipment. 3
