General Safety Information To reduce the risk of death, personal injury or property damage from fire, electric shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards read all warnings and instructions included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels. Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, follow these general precautions. Commercial installation, service and maintenance of luminaires should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician. For Residential installation: If you are unsure about the installation or maintenance of the luminaires, consult a qualified licensed electrician and check your local electrical code. DO NOT INSTALL DAMAGED PRODUCT! This fixture is intended to be connected to a properly installed and grounded UL listed junction box. Picture is for illustration purposes only. Your model may vary. WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRICALSHOCK Turn off electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring fixture to the power supply. Turn off the power when you perform any maintenance. Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the luminaire label information. Make all electrical and grounded connections in accordance with the National Electrical Code and any applicable local code requirements. All wiring connections should be capped with UL approved wire connectors. CAUTION: RISK OF INJURY Wear gloves and safety glasses at all times when removing luminaire from carton, installing, servicing or performing maintenance. Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on. Account for small parts and destroy packing material, as these may be hazardous to children. CAUTION: RISK OF FIRE Keep combustible and other materials that can burn away from luminaire and lamp/lens. Green ground screw provided in proper location, do not relocate. Suitable for dry or damp location, Type IC. MIN 90 C SUPPLY CONDUCTORS. Page: 1

General Wiring Diagram CAUTION: Turn off electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring fixture to the power supply. Connecting panels to AC source supply: All units must be individually connected to the AC supply. (120-277 VAC) Black = Line White = Neutral Green = Ground Installation & Operation Disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the appropriate fuse at the fuse box. Turning the power off using the light switch is not sufficient to prevent electrical shock. 1. Gently press housing base (B) near one end of the fixture while pulling the metal part of the LED cover assembly (A) so that housing separates at the seam as shown. 2. Locate the wiring quick disconnect connectors between the two halves and release the connectors to separate the wires between the two halves. Set aside the LED cover assembly (A). Page: 2

3. Set aside the LED cover assembly (A), and set the housing base (B) on a firm surface with the back side facing up. Determing which knockout will be used to align with the wiring from the mounting surface and using a screwdriver, punch out the knockout hole and dispose of the knockout. 4A. Note: If installing the single strip model, the J-box cover (HH) will need to be installed over the junction box. Align the J-box cover (HH) so that the mounting holes on junction box line up with a pair of the through holes on the J-box cover (HH). Pull the supply wires through the center hole on the J-box cover (HH), secure the cover to the junction box using screws (II). A total of seven (7) screws (II) are provided for different junction box configurations, and one for a grounding point on the j-box cover (HH) if required. The short M4x8mm screw is intended for grounding the J-box cover plate (HH). Two M4x20mm screws are intended to secure the J-box cover plate (HH) to the ceiling junction box. In case that there will be different direction of junction box,we have made four holes for the cover, only need to fix two holes on the plate with M4*20 srews to the junction box,the rest two use M5*8 srews to fill the holes. Two short M4x8mm screws are intended to fit up with a pair of the keyhole slots on the housing base (B). Page: 3

4B. Align knockout hole with the supply wire location on the mounting surface and hold the housing base (B) up in its intended location with one hand while marking the location of the two keyhole slots at each end of the fixture plate. Installation method A: Surface Mount A1. DRYWALL MOUNTING: If the mounting holes go through drywall without a stud, drill four small pilot holes using a 1/8-in. drill bit (not included), and install drywall anchors (BB) into the holes with a hammer (not included). CEILING STUD MOUNTING: If the mounting holes go through ceiling studs, drill four small pilot holes using a 5/32-in. drill bit (not included) for the wood screws (DD). NOTE: Install Wood screws (DD) but leave about 1/2-in. of space between the screw head and mounting surface. A2. Feed the supply wires from the mounting surface through the knockout hole on the housing base (B). Guide the heads of the two wood screws into the keyhole slots and slide the housing base (B) in the direction such that the wood screw heads rest over the narrow part of the keyhole slot. Ensure that the fixture is supported and tighten the two wood screws (DD) until the fixture is secured to the mounting surface. CAUTION: Tighten the screw on the side closest to the driver module first, then tighten the other side after. Page: 4

Installation method B: Hanging chain mount B1. Drill pilot holes in each of the two marked locations. If no stud is present behind drywall, a drywall anchor (BB) will be necessary to support the fixture. Install one J hook (GG) into each of the pilot holes. Hang a chain (EE) to each of the hooks, adjusting the links to the desired length as needed. B2A. Note: If power is to be routed through the back knockout hole. Route the supply wires through the back of the fixture and secure the conduit adapter to the access knockout. B2B. Remove the heat shrink tubing wrap from the ends of the black, white, and green wires in order to expose the copper wires prior to connecting to the building supply lines. Page: 5

Installation method B: Hanging chain mount B2C. Connect the fixture wires to the supply wires -- black to black, white to white, and green to copper/bare. WARNING: If there is no ground supply wire, stop installation and consult a qualified electrician. Once wire connections are made, secure each with a wire nut (CC). Steps B3A and B3B require accessory part FF which can be purchased separately. B3A. Note: If power is to be routed through the connector terminal on fixture end, connect the pigtail leads on connector leads (FF) to supply wires -- black to black, white to white, and green to copper/bare. WARNING: If there is no ground supply wire, stop installation and consult a qualified electrician. Ensure that proper cord fittings/strain relief (not supplied) are used to route through the junction box. Once wire connections are made, secure each with a wire nut (CC). B3B. Connect the connector lead (FF) to the housing base (B) through the end cap terminal (after removing the protective cover on the terminal using a flathead screwdriver. Page: 6

Installation method B: Hanging chain mount B4. Insert one end of the S Hook (EE) into the fixture back as shown in Fig. B4, and hook the other end to the chain to support the fixture on the mounting surface. Repeat for the second mounting hole. 5. Re-connect the connectors between the housing base (B) and LED cover assembly (A). 6. Snap the LED cover assembly (A) back onto the housing base (B) to complete the installation. Page: 7

Instructions For Linking 2 or More Fixtures Together 7A. If linking two or more fixtures together without using chains, power to each subsequent fixture can be made by using the linking connector (AA) where only the first fixture needs to be electrically hardwired and all linked fixtures only need to be mechanically secured to the mounting surface. CAUTION: The maximum number of fixtures allowed to be linked together is 15. Step 7B requires accessory part KK which can be purchased seperately. 7B. If linking two or more fixtures together using chains, only a maximum of 2 fixtures can be secured together using linking connector (AA). Physically connect the two fixtures together using the link bracket (KK) and secure with four bracket screws (JJ). Care & Maintenance: Clean with a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner and soft cloth. Do NOT use solvents or cleaners containing abrasive agents. When cleaning the fixture, make sure the power is turned off, and any liquid spray should be applied to the cleaning cloth and not sprayed directly onto the fixture itself. Troubleshooting: Page: 8
