Areas of focus include jobs, employment and business retention that stimulates overall economic growth, and improves the quality of life in the region. Health Monthly :: Fourth Tuesday :: 8:00 am - 9:15 am Health is a priority for North San Diego Business Chamber as it plays an important role in shaping the region s economy. The Chamber strives to deliver up-to-date, health-related information to enhance the quality of life of Chamber Members and the business community at large. The Health Advisory Council serves as the Chamber s front line to educate San Diego businesses about health care and workplace wellness topics specific to the region that impact bottom lines and workforce productivity. Military Transition Monthly :: First Tuesday :: 8:00 am - 9:00 am The Military Transition Advisory Council oversees Operation Connect, the Chamber s program that assists transitioning military service personnel by providing complimentary professional development training and admission to Regional Connect, and pairing them with Mentors who are business leaders in the region. The Advisory Council reviews each workshop, creates ways to improve the program, and helps grow the number of participating Chamber Mentors.
