The ind sensor should detect undisturbed ind s fr s possible. Therefore the sensors should be mounted t lest 2 m bove the roof level, e.g. on mst. Observe regultions relting to lightning protection nd instlltion (E 230, E 028-11)!! erform ork t the Control only in de-energised condition! Remove front pnel nd terminl cover. Fsten the enclosure securely using suitble mounting mteril. ss the connection cbles through the holes provided. Crry out function settings (see 4) nd ire the Control ccording to the connection digrms. Turn on line voltge. The indictors W nd R light up briefly, the indictor I lights up. The Control is redy for opertion. When sensor is ctive, the indictors W or R remin lit. If n indictor blinks / flshes, follo the instructions in Section 3. While putting into service, check ll functions nd indictors of the Control nd its components. Wind nd Rin Control WRS 2 b 2.2 utting out of service To put out of service, sitch off the line voltge. i In the event of mins filure, the Control sends closing commnd to ll the components connected. 3 Fetures, Controls nd Mintennce Before touching the control elements in the Control it is mndtory to deflect sttic chrge! i The potentiometer W / R nd the DI sitches for setting functions cn be reched by removing the front pnel. Front pnel nd Control re connected by pluggble flt ribbon cble Indictor I (opertion) is lit: orml opertion. blinks: The function output dectivted is ctivted (see 4). flickers: The function Test is ctivted (see 4). Indictor W (ind) is lit: The set threshold vlue s exceeded for fe seconds nd the output contcts ctivted. blinks: Individul gusts of ind lredy exceed the threshold vlue, but the output contcts re not yet ctivted. i For the output contcts to be ctivted, the threshold vlue must be exceeded for pprox. 4 s in the cse of highest sensitivity nd for pprox. s in loest sensitivity. See lso Setting the sensitivity (belo) nd the function Reduced sensitivity to ind (Section 4). Indictor R (rin) is lit: The set threshold vlue s exceeded nd the output contcts ctivted. blinks: Short-circuit of the heting due to defect or fulty connection. flshes: Wire-brek of sensor cble i If the indictor R is lit, the rin sensor is heted. The sensor surfce dries fster fter rin nd it cn be ventilted gin. Setting the sensitivity for ind W / rin R: The sensitivity of the sensors cn be set on the potentiometers W nd R in the Control using scredriver (for this, remove the front pnel): Rotting in the clockise direction increses the sensitivity. Rotting in the counterclockise direction reduces the sensitivity. Fctory setting: highest sensitivity for both sensors.! Too lo sensitivity setting cn cuse dmge by ind nd rin! Mintennce: Crry out the folloing tests / ork once in yer: Clening the rin sensor ith dmp cloth, possibly ith mild detergent. Do not scour the sensor surfce! Check the ind sensor for smooth-running Functionl testing of the sensors Check hether ll SHV or ventiltion devices re properly closed 4 Selectble functions: Reduced sensitivity to ind DI sitch 1: In the O position, the Control is less sensitive to gusts of ind The closing tkes plce only fter the threshold vlue is exceeded for the incresed response durtion (pprox. 8 to 13 s). Fctory setting: OFF (norml sensitivity). Continuous heting DI sitch 2: In the O position, the rin sensor is heted continuously t reduced poer. For exmple, this prevents morning de nd incidentl ctivtion of the sensor cused thereby. If the sensor is ctivted by rin, the heter opertes t full poer once gin up to drying. Fctory setting: OFF (heting is ctive only in rin). 3

When function is ctivted, the indictor I blinks. Fctory setting: OFF (outputs re ctive)! Dectivte the function gin fter putting into service / mintennce. Reduced closing time DI sitch : In the O position, the output contcts re ctivted in ind / rin for t lest 3 minutes. Fctory setting: OFF (ctivte for t lest minutes).! When the function is ctivted, it must be ensured tht SHV or ventiltion devices re completely closed ithin 3 minutes. Mlfunction contct DI sitch : In the O position, the output contct 2 sitches on mlfunction of the rin sensor (short-circuit / ire-brek) nd the indictor R blinks / flshes. Fctory setting: OFF (contct sitches during ind / rin). Test DI sitch 8: In the O position, the test function for putting into service / mintennce ork is ctivted nd the indictor I flickers. All output contcts re ctivted nd cn be dectivted using the DI sitch. When sensor responds, the corresponding indictor W / R is sved (to be ble to check it lter in the Control). Fctory setting: OFF (Test function dectivted).! Dectivte the function gin fter putting into service / mintennce.
