GENERAL THEORY OF INNOVATION (GTI) WHAT IS GTI? GTI is a scientific theory of innovation with prescriptive and predictive capabilities. GTI is based on these facts and principles. 1. As systems, products and services evolve over time. Any innovation is a single step in this continual process. 2. Though perceived as random, evolution has logic and a predominant direction, disobeying which leads to an innovation s troubles and eventual failure. 3. Instead, obeying the logic of evolution (deliberately or not) reverses the success odds and leads to a strategic advantage, a prerequisite for growth! GTI & STRATEGIC INNOVATION Innovations that enable strategic advantage and growth are called strategic. Research clearly shows that the key difference between market s winners and losers is NOT in their abilities to solve problems effectively but in their abilities to identify the RIGHT Problems to solve. Identification of the RIGHT Problems is a prerequisite for creating growth! The GTI evolutionary logic and its predictive capability are at the foundation of a robust step-bystep methodology for identifying, selecting, and solving the RIGHT Problems. Sign up and master this powerful methodology! EVERY INNOVATION IS A SINGLE STEP IN THE EVOLUTION OF SYSTEMS. MASTER ITS LOGIC AND BECOME A PROFESSIONAL INNOVATOR! 2010-2017, Institute of Professional Innovators. For questions, call 1.248.381.1491 4
