We are happy to work with you as a Booking.com partner. Photos play a crucial role in helping visitors book accommodation online. As they have not seen your property in person, they rely heavily on the photos you upload to help Welcome them make their decision. This guide illustrates what results we would like to have, and how to get there.
The aim of these shoots is to capture beautiful, well-lit and realistic photos of your place. They must show all the main rooms and features, along with specific details, that will captivate and inspire our travelers. Photos need to be consistently high quality and in high resolution in order to be used on different digital platforms. A clear and realistic representation of your property s location is essential for our travelers when booking with us. They should know exactly what the property looks like on arrival. When shooting your place, you should to take photos of the exterior showing - Location Entrance of property Building facade in the content of the street Please avoid road signs, parked cars (where possible), and no recognisable people passing by.
Be sure to photograph all rooms in your property, as well as the exterior and surroundings. To make the most of the spaces, please take photos of each room from a variety of different angles. View from corner, showcasing the whole room View from a different corner Unique room features / facilities Please use appropriate lighting to achieve consistency. It s best to have a minimum of 4 photos for each room in the property. And at least 1 photo of your bathroom/toilet. All photos must present your property realistically and highlight its best features. All photos must be consistently clear, bright and flattering. It might be best to prepare your property before taking any photos of it. Use a good camera for best results Shoot and deliver Landscape (horizontal) images only. We do not request or require portrait (vertical) format images. Photos must be high resolution, minimum 2048 x 1536 pixels, but preferably 4000x3000 pixels. Maximum file size of a single photo is 19MB Shoot a minimum of 10 photos. Shoot from around 160cm height, as this maintains consistency across all images and is very neutral from the viewer s perspective. Shoot from the corners to add perspective and depth to the image.
