McIntyre Jennifer McIntyre was born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in the town of Havre de Grace in northern Maryland. She joined the U.S. Department of State in 1992 and became a career member of the Senior Foreign Service in 2009. Ms. McIntyre s prior foreign assignments include tours as Vice Consul and General Services Officer in Baku, Azerbaijan; as Vice Consul and Management Officer in Adana, Turkey; as Management Officer in Phnom Penh, Cambodia; as Deputy Chief of Mission in Asmara, Eritrea; and most recently as Deputy Management Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. Ms. McIntyre s Washington experience has included service in the State Department s Operations Center; as a Post Management Officer in the Executive Office for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs; as a Special Assistant to Under Secretary for Management Grant Green; and as Supervisory Post Management Officer in the Executive Office for the Bureaus of Near Eastern and South and Central Asian Affairs. Ms. McIntyre earned a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Studies from the University of Virginia in 1991 and a Masters of National Security during a year s study at the National War College in 2006. In 2005, she was awarded the State Department s Leamon R. Hunt Award for Management Excellence. Ms. McIntyre began her duties as Consul General in August 2011.
MR.GOPICHAND KATRAGADDA Managing Director, GE India Technology Centre Gopi Katragadda leads GE s India Technology team of about 5500 engineers and scientists. The GE India Technology Center is GE s first and largest integrated, multidisciplinary research and development center outside the U.S. In addition to teams that work in the area of fundamental research, product-focused teams develop technologies for GE Energy, Aviation, Healthcare, Transportation, Oil & Gas, and Water. Over the last decade, inventors at the Center have filed over 1500 patents for the General Electric Company. Gopi has been with GE for 10 years. Prior to his current role, Gopi held various leadership roles within GE including India Leadership for Energy Engineering and GE Global Research. Before joining GE, Gopi worked with Karta Technologies, San Antonio, Texas, as Vice President of Research and Development and also Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas and on the board of directors for Texas Public Radio. Gopi holds a BS degree in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University and MS, PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Iowa State University. Gopi has authored a book on innovation (published by Wiley), over 30 publications, five patents, several invited presentations, and citations of his research work. He is a member of several professional societies and on the Innovation Task Force for the Confederation of Indian Industries and the India Innovation Council. Gopi is married to Seema and they have two children, son Pranav and daughter Aditi. He enjoys writing fictional and non-fictional articles, painting and playing cricket.
AKILA KRISHNAKUMAR President, Global Technology and Country Head ( India), SunGard Akila Krishnakumar is the President Global Technology and Country Head for SunGard in India, and is responsible for all operations and services delivered out of SunGard s global solution centers in India, China and Tunisia. Akila has extensive experience in bringing to market enterprise software products. In 1993, Akila started up the India operations for a leading US consulting firm. Recognized as one of the early attempts at offshore product development for enterprise class applications, it was acquired by SunGard in 2004. She began her career with Wipro in 1983, before moving on to head Regional Professional Services of International Computers Limited (UK). Through her career spanning 27 years, Akila has extensive experience in bringing to market enterprise software products, in the areas of banking, manufacturing and education. Akila s interests extend beyond business software. She is a past Chairman and current executive committee member of the American Chamber of Commerce Chapter in India. She has also served as an executive committee member of the Indo-US chamber of Commerce. She is on the advisory board of an urban governance think-tank. She has been acknowledged by Nasscom and Dataquest as one of the top women leaders in IT and is also currently chairing the Regional Nasscom Council. Akila has a Masters degree in Management Studies from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani, India.
ABHIJIT BHADURI CHIEF LEARNING OFFICER, WIPRO Abhijit Bhaduri works as the Chief Learning Officer of Wipro and lives in Bangalore, India.He has led HR teams at Microsoft, PepsiCo, Colgate and Tata Steel during which he worked in India, SE Asia and US. He is on the Advisory Board of Wharton s prestigious program for chief learning officers that is run by the University of Pennsylvania, USA. He is frequently quoted in the business press and has written columns for TheEconomic Times, The Hindu Business Line, among others. Abhijit has a bachelor s degree in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce and an LLB from Delhi University. He has an MBA from Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur.
