Now is the time to consider your layout prior to installation and decide how you will place your standard (6') or cut sections. Page 4 Wall Attachment Assembly When Starting or ending at a wall or existing wood post, slide fence castings onto fence horizontals and attach to the wall or post. WALL OR POST RESIDENTIAL FENCE CASTING INDUSTRIAL FENCE CASTING Line Post Assembly Assemble post to fence section. Post is made up of one prepunched channel and one prepunched plate. Using " screws attach channel part of post to one fence section. Again using " screws attach prepunched plate part of post to opposite side of the same fence section. Continue assembly of channel and plate to all fence sections in this manner. End-post and gate-post are assembled as below, only the plate part of post is not punched. POST CHANNEL POST PLATE RESIDENTIAL FENCE INDUSTRIAL FENCE Use caution that all sections are assembled alike with the side of the fence showing the picket screws facing in the same direction.
Page 5 Corner Post Assembly When starting at a corner, take post channel and post plate labeled "Corner" and attach prepunched post channel to fence section using " sheet metal screws provided (# ). Then snap post plate into post channel to form post (# ). Insert 3" screws provided through the corner post and into a second fence section to form corner (# 3). POST PLATE POST CHANNEL 3" SCREW 3 INDUSTRIAL FENCE RESIDENTIAL FENCE IMPORTANT: Be sure in all cases that the picket screws in the fence horizontals face the same direction. It is your option which direction these screws face.
Fence Section Assembly Page 6 After your first fence section (or starter section), you will then be able to snap the post plate and post channel together very rapidly. By adding the cast aluminum post cap you have completed the post assembly. ADD POST CAP CHANNEL PLATE 3" X 3" POST EXTRUSION PLATE IS 6" SHORTER THEN POST 3" x 3" Post Assembly (Optional) LINE POST 3 3. SLIDE CASTING ONTO FENCE SECTION.. ATTACH CASTING TO POST WITH SCREWS. 3. INSTALL POST CAP. LINE POST. ATTACH HALF POST TO EACH FENCE SECTION.. SNAP HALF POSTS TOGETHER. 3. INSTALL POST CAP.

HINGE MUST BE INSTALLED WITH BOLT SIDE OF HINGE ON SAME SIDE OF GATE AS LATCH.. LATCH ACCOMMODATES PAD LOCK. 3. 8" GATE STOP. 4. U-BRACE GATE DESIGN FOR 48" WIDE OR LESS 5. DIAGONAL REQUIRED ON ALL GATES OVER 48" WIDE 6. OPTIONAL MAGNA LATCH FOR ALL POOL GATES Post Installation IN-GROUND DIG HOLE 8" DEEP. SET FENCE POST INTO HOLE. THEN DRIVE POST 6" INTO GROUND, THEN PLUM POST AND LEVEL RAIL. FILL HOLE MINIMUM-HALFWAY WITH CONCRETE MIX. FILL REST OF HOLE WITH EARTH. IN SLAB / CORE DRILL DRILL MINIMUM 3 /" DEEP HOLE INTO EXISTING SLAB. SET POST INTO HOLE AND FILL WITH HYDRAULIC CEMENT. NOTE: CONCRETE FOOTINGS SHOULD EXTEND BELOW THE FROST LINE IN AREAS WHERE EXTREME GROUND FROST MAY BE A PROBLEM.
