Course information MASTER OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY Manage sustainable change. Formerly a niche topic, environmental studies have become a key prerequisite for future competitive ability. Man-made climate change is one of the most critical challenges we face today and the way a company deals with this issue constitutes a strong selling point for the public. The master programme in Environmental Management and Sustainability covers topics ranging from carbon footprints, climate modelling, environmental ethics, biodegradable materials to the challenges of mobility and megacities. SUSTAINABILITY IN ECONOMY AND RESEARCH FOR A BETTER ENVIRONMENT With respect to future generations, there is an urgent need both within technology and policy for developing innovative solutions for environmental problems. The major challenge facing sustainability management is to balance conservation interests with demands for economic growth.
