As many entries as desired - no restrictions. Entries may be combined with all other Veteran s Building Youth Departments except Baking and Food Preservation. 21. VARIOUS MISCELLANEOUS AWARDS YOUTH General Rules: 1. Exhibitors must live in Doña Ana, Bernalillo, Catron, Grant, Hidalgo, Luna, Otero, Sierra, Socorro, Valencia and El Paso Counties and must be 18 years of age or under to participate. 2. All entries must be the work of the exhibitor and must have been completed after the close of the previous year s Fair. 3. Any item that is entered and deemed by the Superintendent to be in bad taste, will not be accepted. 4. All entries will be judged according to age group. The age of the exhibitor must be on the entry form. ALL UNLABELED ENTRIES WILL BE JUDGED IN THE SENIOR CLASS. a. Senior Class - 14-18 years old b. Junior Class - 9-13 years old c. Beginners Class - 0-8 years old d. Special Needs age 18 and under 5. The Superintendent may at his or her discretion, declare a new class in miscellaneous to aid the judges in the separation of entries. 6. The Superintendent may at his or her discretion replace any cash prize with a gift certificate of equal or greater value. 7. Every precaution will be taken to protect exhibits, but the fair will not be responsible for loss or damage. The owner s themselves must take the risk of exhibiting them. Items not picked up in a week become the property of the SNMSF and may be disposed of.
