So tht it limits the occurrence of ferroresonnce. Detection lgorithm evlutes trnsients nd other voltge wveform deformtions which influence the level of the trnsformer core mgnetic excittion. The FR is ctivted t 145 % of the nominl voltge Unom during the stedy stte sitution. The internl lod grdully increses up to mximum for 200 % of nominl voltge. Opertion of the instrument is indicted with green signl LED light. ctive stte is indicted y red signl LED light. When the mximum lod cpcity of the FR is reched, the red LED light strts linking. The ctivtion of the upeer resistive stge is internly time nd temperture limited. FR 1xx is intended for instlltion on 35 mm DI ril ccording to E 50 022 nd only for interior pplictions. It is crucilly importnt to protect the instrument ginst dust, dirt nd wter entering the equipment. For correct function it is importnt to provide enough cooling of the instrument. Inside the cinet correct ir circultion should e kept. In close proximity to the instrument nd especilly elow it should not e instlled ny other instruments nd equipment which could e source of het. The instrument is instlled s is displyed with ventiltor t the ottom nd terminls on top. Typiclly it is instlled into the cinet side other protection nd mesuring instruments. FR 1xx is connected to the secondry side of the voltge trnsformer. It cn e connected in prllel with the mesuring nd protection instruments. Prllel wiring of the lod should not influence the opertion of the protection relys. Optionlly it cn e connected onto the seprte secondry winding. It is lwys importnt to respect the nominl voltge of the FR 1xx nd the sme nominl voltge of the secondry winding of the trnsformer. The conductors connection the device should e protected y the 16 (chrcteristic ) circuit reker in proximity to the trnsformer. It is recommended to use flexile isolted wire with mx. 2
FR 1xx KM systems 2,5 mm 2 cross-section. The connection wiring schem is shown elow. Terminl or n or of the lod must e grounded preferly to the terminl of the trnsformer. efore commission mke sure tht this grounding is present nd is not duplicte (t the trnsformer sec. output nd t the protection for exmple). Do not short circuit the trnsformer. This could led to the destruction of the VT. It is possile to use FR 1xx together with protection relys or mesuring devices to one VT. Prrllel connection of RF does not ffects function of protection rely. Models of FR 1xx S needs uxiliry voltge supply, preferely with ckup, for internl electronics. It is recommended to use flexile isolted wire with mx. 2,5 mm 2 cross-sectio. Models of FR 1x1 with memory nd communitcion line keeps lst 250 events in dtlogger (ctivtion, trnsformer switch on, switch off, undervoltge). Communiction lide RD 485 is connected to terminls, nd. The usge of termintor resistores t the communiction line endpoints is recommended. The cle shielding should e connected only t one point to PE wire, preferly t the side of controller. For sufficient cooling, the ventiltion slots must e kept free n eventul impurities or dust must e removed with dry wiper or pintrush. The instrument is during opertion under hzrdous voltge.
