It is important that they are read carefully and completely before assembling this Fixture. -This product must be installed with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product. -This Fixture has been rated for up to 60 Watt MAX Type B Candelabra Bulb (NOT Included) or 13 Watt CFL Bulb (NOT Included). -Before starting installation of this Fixture or the removal of a previous Fixture, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse from the fuse box. WARNING: -Deviation from the Assembly Instructions may result in a risk of fire or electric shock. -To reduce risk of fire, electrical shock, or personal injury, always turn off Fixture and allow it to cool prior to replacing the bulb. -Do not touch the bulb when the Fixture is turned on. NOTE: Remove all parts and hardware from the box along with any plastic protective packaging and carefully lay all the parts out on a clean, flat surface. DO NOT discard any contents until after assembly and installation is complete to avoid accidentally discarding small parts or hardware. (L) STEP 1: Run the wiring that comes out of the threaded nipple in the center of the Light Arm (C) through the Fixture Tube (L). Screw the Fixture Tube onto the threaded nipple of the Light Arm until tight. (C) STEP 2: Place the Light Arm (C) inside the Fixture Body (A). Run the wiring that comes out of the Fixture Tube (L) through the Hanging Tube (K). Screw the Hanging Tube into the Fixture Tube until tight. Attach one end of the Hanging Arms (H) to the eyes on the corners of the Fixture Body, then attach the other end to the eyes on top of the Hanging Tube. (A) (H) (K) (L) (C) (I) STEP 3: Determine the desired length you want the fixture to hang from the ceiling. Run the wiring first through the Connecting Tube (J) and then the number of Extension Tubes (I) needed to create this length. Hook the Connecting Tube to the Hanging Tube (K), then screw the Extension Tubes into the Connecting Tube and each other. (J) (K) Page 3 of 5
(B) STEP 4: Run the wiring coming out of the Extension Tubes (I) through the Canopy (B). Screw the Canopy into the Extension Tube until tight. (I) STEP 5: Make sure the power is off, then secure the Mounting Plate (G) to the Outlet Box with the Mounting Screws (F). Tighten until snug. (G) STEP 6: While a second person supports the Light Fixture, wrap the Ground Wire from the Fixture around the Ground Screw on the Mounting Plate (G) Attach the Power Supply Wires to the Fixture Wires by connecting Black to Black (or Smooth) and White to White (or Ribbed). Cover the connections using the Wire Connectors (E). NOTE: Black Wire inside the Outlet Box may be smooth. White Wire inside the Outlet Box may be ribbed. STEP 7: While a second person supports the Light Fixture, slide the Canopy (B) over the Outlet Box and screw into place using the Canopy Screws (D). Tighten the Screws until secure. (B) (D) STEP 8: Screw in the Bulbs. This Fixture has been rated for up to 60 Watt MAX Type B Candelabra Bulb. (Not Included) STEP 9: Connect breaker and turn on Light.
