SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES October 17 Day 1 Dr. Mark Lysyshyn, MD, MPH, FRCPC Medical Health Officer Vancouver Coastal Health Mark Lysyshyn works for Vancouver Coastal Health as the Medical Health Officer for the North Shore and Sea to Sky areas. He also supports the regional Harm Reduction, Population Health and Licensing programs. Mark completed medical school at Queen s University, a Masters of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health and residency programs in Internal Medicine and Public Health and Preventive Medicine at the University of British Columbia. He has previously worked at the Public Health Agency of Canada and at St. Paul's Hospital. John Driscoll Associate Director of Police, Security and Outside Services Massachusetts General Hospital John Driscoll has been in healthcare security for over 30 years. He has been the associate director of Police, Security and Outside Services at MGH for 25 years. In his position he oversees the operations of the Police and Security function overseeing 125 full time employees whose job it is to protect over 10 million square feet of property and respond to approximately 320,000 calls for service a year. John Is a Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) and a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) which are the two primary professional certifications in the healthcare security field. He is a licensed Massachusetts State Special Police Officer. He is a graduate of the Senior Executive Leadership Program at the Kellogg School of Management. He has been the recipient of the Presidential Award from the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) and the Colleague Medal from the Boston Chapter of IAHSS for work and contribution to the healthcare security field. John is a certified instructor in crime prevention and community policing and had has authored articles and chapters in textbooks on these subjects. 5 th Annual IPS Education Summit Navigating the Future Page 4 of 9

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES October 17 Day 1 Gregory N. Smith, CPP, CHPA, CSPM Director, Enterprise Security Systems Protective Services - Centres of Expertise Greg Smith has been active in the security industry for over 20 years. Greg began his career in Healthcare Security as the Security Manager at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton. Currently, he is the Director of Enterprise Security Systems, Alberta Health Services. Responsible for the Physical Security Design of Healthcare Facilities, Physical Security Technologies and ID Card Management. Recognized as a specialist in Physical Security Design and Crime Prevention he is very active in the Edmonton community working with Law enforcement and municipal groups to improve quality of life for neighborhoods and businesses. Greg has a strong belief in continuing education attaining Diplomas in Security Management from Grant MacEwan University and University of Alberta as well as successfully completing a Security Executive Leadership Studies at The Wharton School of Business. Coupled with his formal education he has successfully attained three Professional security industry certifications; Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) and Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM). Doug Wills, MA, PMP General Manager, P3 Operations JPOCSC and SMH-CCT Doug Wills has worked in healthcare for more than 25 years and held a variety of roles in operations, contract management, project management and Public-Private Partnership (P3) operations. Since 2009, Doug has been the operational phase General Manager and Public Sector Representative for the P3 built hospitals in Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (2009-2014) as well as Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre and Surrey Memorial Hospital Critical Care Tower (2014-present). Doug is able to draw on his variety of experience and educational background to ensure that these P3 hospitals are operating efficiently and the service providers are meeting or exceeding agreed upon design and performance levels at the same time as meeting the clinical needs of its patients. Doug holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, a Certificate in Project Management from the University of British Columbia, Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. 5 th Annual IPS Education Summit Navigating the Future Page 5 of 9

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES October 18 Day 2 KEYNOTE Dr. Jack E. Enter, Ph.D. Leadership Training Professional Jack Enter has been associated with the field of criminal justice since 1972 when he began his career as a law enforcement officer. Since that time, he has worked as a street police officer, detective, vice/narcotics investigator, and as the administrator of a law enforcement agency in the suburbs of Atlanta. Jack obtained his Ph.D. in 1984 and has served as a professor and administrator in the university setting and served as Director of Information and Education for the Governor s Criminal Justice Coordinating Council. He was also one of the research associates assigned to the planning of the security component of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. He has lectured throughout the United States and abroad. He published his first book: Challenging the Law Enforcement Organization: Proactive Leadership Strategies in 2006. Jack lives in Auburn, Georgia, with his wife Barbara. They have three adult children and six grandchildren. Rob Kroeker Vice President, Corporate Security and Compliance BC Lottery Corporation As the Vice-President of Corporate Security and Compliance, Rob leads the development and implementation of corporate security and compliance policies and procedures for BCLC, our players and private sector service providers. He is responsible for all aspects of security, compliance, legal services, privacy and Freedom of Information administration. Rob has extensive experience in the gaming industry as well as a legal background. Prior to joining BCLC, Rob served as Vice-President of Corporate Security and Compliance with the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation. He currently serves as President of the Gaming Security Professionals of Canada and sits on the Board of Governors for the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Rob has held a number of senior management and executive roles with the provincial government in the justice sector. In 2011, he was commissioned by the Province to conduct a strategic review of the adequacy and effectiveness of compliance, security and anti-money laundering measures employed across the gaming industry. The review led to a report of findings and recommendations, which were accepted and implemented by the Province. Rob earned a Masters of Public Administration and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Victoria, as well as a Criminology degree from Simon Fraser University. He was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1993.
