Product Information ACRYLITE LED White 0V606 Product Profile: ACRYLITE LED White 0V606 is specifically engineered for uniform light distribution when backlit with strong LED light sources. Combined with high light transmission, the diffusion grade also has the ability to eliminate disturbing hotspots (spots of light created by the LED source). These properties make it possible to reduce the spacing required between the cover and the light source, optimizing the wall thickness of the component. Components that are manufactured with this coloring appear optically white in reflected light. ACRYLITE LED White 0V606 is characterized by diffuse scattering of light, and is offered in the following ACRYLITE polymers: ACRYLITE 8N, ACRYLITE H12, ACRYLITE H15, and ACRYLITE Resist zkx. Typical properties of ACRYLITE acrylic polymers are: excellent weather resistance high mechanical strength high surface hardness and mar resistance various melt flow rate When combined with our ACRYLITE Resist zkx acrylic polymers, properties such as enhanced impact resistance, toughness, heat and chemical resistance can be achieved, without sacrificing optical clarity. Such characteristics are ideal for resisting the adverse effects of outdoor weathering. Application: ACRYLITE LED White 0V606 in the respective base molding compound is appropriate for injection molding, extrusion and injection blow molding. The manufactured molded parts are intended for lighting applications with LED backlighting. Examples: Light fixture covers, LED-lighting rails, bulbs, façade lighting and lighting switches. Processing: ACRYLITE LED White 0V606 can be processed in injection molding machines with 3-zone general purpose screws. Surface Finish: A matte surface finish can be achieved when parts are manufactured in an extrusion process. Physical Form / Packaging: ACRYLITE LED White 0V606 is provided in uniform pellets, available in packaging of 1500 lb gaylords, 375 lb drums or 25 lb & 50 lb sample box packages.
