SHAFT ASSEMBLY SPRING PAGE: 8.7 WHITE Detail 1 Number of spring turns B RED A SHAFT ASSEMBLY 1. Look at the number of spring turns on the spring plate label. Each turn indicates one whole revolution of the spring. 2. Tension the springs by means of the two spring winding rods. Insert one of the spring rods into the hole pointing downwards on the cone. Lift up the spring rod (see detail 1, point B) until the next spring rod can be inserted into the hole in the cone, now pointing downwards. Continue until the coloured line on the spring shows the number of turns required. When removing allow one spring bar in turn to rest against the building (see detail 2). Detail 2 Cone 3. Then tighten the cone bolts to a maximum of ½ turn, after contact with the shaft! 4. Lubricate the springs with SAE 20 oil. Avoid dripping. 5. Test run the door. The door must be balanced in any position. 6. If the door does not hang horizontally it must be adjusted at the cable screw terminal. If this is not sufficient move the cable on the drum. Note that during this movement of the cable the cable must only be pulled out of the cable fastening on the drum. Look at the number of spring turns on the spring plate label.

PAGE: 11.5 1 Lock arm with retaining plate must be approx. 2 mm from guide rails. Adjust by bending lock arm carefully. (Arm can only be bent once.) 2 2 To ensure the automatic function will work correctly, we recommend bending the lower tab on the lock plate outwards slightly in relation to the upper tab. (approx. 1-3 mm). Alternatively, the lock plate can be fitted vertically even though the guide rail is angled backwards. 3 All moving parts with the exception of the retaining plate must be lubricated (SAE20 or similar) at every service. Lubricate lock cylinder with lock oil.
