Lisa Brooks Carmichael, Senior Director of MSP Portfolio Management Lisa Brooks Carmichael is the Senior Director of Elavon s MSP Portfolio Management team and has been with Elavon for 17 years. Lisa s skill set includes Management over Customer Service teams, Conversions as well as New and Large Merchant Implementation. She came to the MSP Channel in May of 2012 where she began her career in Business Development. Lisa is CPP certified and currently works with the ETA on their ISO Partner Council. Lisa is from the Knoxville area and has Bachelor of Arts degree from Carson Newman University in English and Political Science with emphasis on International Relations. Prior to Elavon and just out of college Lisa worked for Philips Consumer Electronics where she managed a Customer Service team and later became an Account Manager for some of Philips mid to large customers. In her personal time Lisa enjoys family time with her husband James and two kids, Mia and Lil James. Together they like hiking, swimming, boating, watching football (GO VOLS) and spending time with their dogs, Jade, Kiba and Layla. Chris Hall, Senior Portfolio Manager Chris has been with Elavon for almost 4 years and is based in our Atlanta headquarters office. He started his career managing the Southeast Region and moved into the Midwest Region in 2013. He was promoted to Senior Portfolio Manager in November 2014 and has been an integral part of the evolution of the Portfolio Management team. Chris is a Certified Payments Professional with ETA and has excelled in generating revenue ideas and growth and was a go to contact for all Portfolio Managers. He has managed over 75 different offices in the last 4 years and has a broad spectrum of knowledge of all of our clients. He also works with the planning team every year to put on our annual MSP Conference.
Chris is originally from Tennessee, just outside Nashville, but has been living in Atlanta for the last 14 years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee and studied Human Resources for his Master s Degree also at UT. He began his career after college in the Human Resources field, went onto Recruiting and Marketing with a Medical Therapy Company. Prior to joining Elavon, he was a successful Real Estate Broker for 9 years. He managed over 100 Real Estate Agents in two separate offices, as well as Sales and Marketing for his own Business in Real Estate. With his Management, Sales, Marketing and knowledge of owning his own business, we are excited to have Chris on our Elavon team. Outside of work, Chris enjoys sports like college football, the NFL, tennis, baseball, and basketball. He loves to cook and has taken many cooking classes over the years and is also an avid runner. He loves spending time with his partner, his family, and his two Chihuahuas, Maxwell and Alex. Sara Bednara, Senior Portfolio Manager Sara has been in the payments industry for 8 years, first starting as a sales representative with Elavon and U.S. Bank in 2007. Prior to joining Elavon s MSP Channel, Sara managed the Partner Business Enablement team starting in 2011, which supports the MSP and Elavon sales channels in ongoing communication and training efforts. Sara was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the American Academy of Art where she studied multimedia and web design. After college, she started working in the banking industry first as a licensed banker for JP Morgan Chase, and then moved to U.S. Bank as a business banker. Outside of work, Sara spends time with her husband and 3 year old daughter. Luis Villalobos, Incubator & ANB Portfolio Manager
Celebrating ten years with Elavon in 2015, Luis Villalobos has served many roles throughout the organization, gaining experience and expertise by supporting our customers in our call centers, leading a technical support team, providing new employee training and delivering product specific knowledge to large customer organizations. As Incubator and ANB Portfolio Manager, Luis oversees the two programs concurrently. The programs are designed for all new Elavon Partners, providing the support and resources during the early stages of the relationship to build a strong foundation for growth and continued business. Incubator Partners will graduate to a relationship Manager in their respective region, while ANBs will continue their relationship through Luis portfolio. Jennifer Sumii, Portfolio Manager, Midwest Jennifer Sumii is a Portfolio Manager based in our Englewood, CO office. She has been on the MSP PM team since 2011 and currently manages our Midwest portfolio. Prior to joining our team a few years ago, Jennifer held positions with US Bank Commercial banking, where she successfully led a team of Commercial Service Bankers. She brings over a decade of commercial banking and payments experience with US Bank and Elavon. Jennifer manages the Midwest Portfolio along with some of our largest partners. Jennifer also holds a Certified Payments Professional designation since 2012. In her spare time, she loves to cook, play cards and spend time with family and friends. Nasaem Mousa, Portfolio Manager, Northeast Nasaem has been with Elavon for 10 years. When he was hired in 2004, Nasaem joined the Alliance Bank Team. He worked with the clients within varies bank channels for 18 months. He then spent a year
completing UAT testing for Customer Care Department in which he tested systems for new conversions and a number of projects. Nasaem was then hired as a Team Lead for Account Updates. He spent eight months at this position helping develop new employees. In the spring of 2008, Nasaem joined the National Accounts Team. He managed over 50 accounts including some of Elavon s largest clients and has developed a wide-range of knowledge of the industry. Nasaem is based in Knoxville, TN and will be managing our Northeast Region. In his spare time, Nasaem enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his wife, 4 year old son, and 2 year old daughter. He enjoys sports, particularly baseball and football. He currently helps coach his son s baseball team. He also attends and watches many sporting events to support his favorite teams like the Tennessee Volunteers, Chicago Cubs, and Denver Broncos. Bob Morris, Portfolio Manager, West Coast Bob Morris is a Certified Payments Professional (CPP) focused on building and maintaining productive and powerful relationships with a portfolio of MSP partners in California for Elavon. He has been with the third-party sales Portfolio Management team since 2011 and is based in our Atlanta Elavon offices. Bob's current clients are comprised of small to large sized MSP offices with diverse portfolios of business from all sectors of American industry. These partners are both existing and experienced MSP shops in the industry, as well as new MSP offices that are just now taking the plunge into merchant services. The foundation of his experience is account management and project management. Prior to joining Elavon, he specialized in account and relationship management, as well as project management in both the information technology and financial services industries. He comes from a strong relationship management and customer support background. Bob grew up in Atlanta and studied at the University of Georgia in Athens. Outside of work, Bob enjoys a diverse group of loving friends and family, as well as exploring and enjoying the urban landscape in Atlanta, whether it's music, fine food and wine, or seeking out new and stimulating ways to experience the world. Bob enjoys anything involving film, music, television, the arts, science, and psychology.
Ryan Hicks, Portfolio Manager, West Coast Ryan has been a member of the third-party sales Portfolio Management team since 2010. His portfolio is based in the West Coast region. His specialties include pricing, marketing strategy, data analysis, and sales leadership. Prior to joining the team he was a software / VAR specialist in the Alliance sales support team, responsible for training, escalations, and change management for more than 500 members of Elavon s bank-aligned sales force. Ryan is a Certified Payments Professional (CPP) and is also a MBA candidate at the Georgia Institute of Technology; his anticipated concentrations are marketing, strategy, and entrepreneurship. He plans to graduate in August 2015. He is married to a family attorney practicing in the Vinings suburb of Atlanta (Reagan Bush, Esq.). They are both active in animal welfare projects, and their family includes 7 rescued pets. He has varied interests, including and especially running, Formula1 auto racing, Dallas Cowboys & Texas Longhorn football, reading, and travel. Terry Chapman, Portfolio Manager, Southeast Region Terry has been with Elavon for almost 20 years and works in the Knoxville, TN office. He started in Customer Service in 1995 but the majority of his time has been spent with the Fulfillment team underwriting accounts and Channel Services taking care of escalated issues. Terry managed Key Bank escalations and also handled the Quick Customer online applications as a Channel Manager. Prior to working at Elavon, Terry was a District Manager for many years at the Knoxville News Sentinel, handling accounts for local businesses for marketing purposes.
Terry was born in Virginia but has grown up in the Knoxville area. Outside of work, Terry enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Most of his weekends are spent with his wife Michelle watching his son Bryce play baseball or basketball. Terry is a diehard VOLS fan and spends Saturdays in the fall with his family at Neyland Stadium. Terry is very excited to join the MSP Channel as he has worked with many MSP partners over the years.
