This way two or more SM-units can be used to gether as one high power unit. Volt age and cur rent of the units is con trolled by the mas ter (by po ten ti om eters or by pro gram ming). For Par al lel op er a tion use 15 pole shielded ca bles, no spe cial op tion re quired. For Se ries op er a tion use the Mas ter / Slave Se ries Adapter to gether with 15p shielded ca bles (1:1) Battery Charging The / reg u lated power sup plies are ideal bat tery charg ers. Once set at the cor rect out put volt age, the bat tery will charge con stantly with out over charg ing. This can be use ful for emer gency power sys tems. Use a cir cuit breaker in se ries to pro tect the in ter nal di ode from re verse con nec tion of the bat tery. The SM300-10 needs an ex ter nal di ode set (op tion P023) on the out put as pro tec tion for the in ter nal di ode.
