Frank Westhoff Mr Frank Westhoff was born in Wolfsburg, Germany, on 12 June 1961. He is married and has three children. Having finished grammar school and completed a banking apprenticeship, Mr Westhoff studied business administration at the University of Nuremberg from 1984 to 1990, when he received his degree. In 1990, Mr Westhoff completed a one-year trainee programme with Deutsche Bank in Nuremberg, after which he was appointed officer holding general power of attorney and Head of Corporate Customer Support Group. He fulfilled this function until 1994. From 1995 to 1996, Mr Westhoff worked for Deutsche Bank in Vienna as the Department Head of Corporate Banking Austria. This appointment was followed by two further executive positions between 1997 and 2002 for Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt/Main, namely as the Head of Strategy/Structure/Processes in the central credit and loans department, and subsequently Senior Credit Officer. In 2002, Mr Westhoff, as a member of Deutsche Bank s Executive Board in Munich, took over the responsibility for the bank s lending business in Southern Germany. In October 2002, Mr Westhoff joined DZ BANK AG in Frankfurt/Main, where he was responsible for both the bank s national and international loan business as the global head of the credit and loans department up to April 2006. Mr Westhoff has been a member of the Board of Managing Directors of DZ Bank AG in Frankfurt since May 2006 and is responsible for Credit, Risk Controlling, Compliance, and Data Protection, as well as for the business with local cooperative banks in the Rhineland- Palatinate, Saarland and Weser-Ems regions. Mr Westhoff has been a member of the Supervisory Board of DVB Bank SE since 30 June 2006. Wolfgang Köhler Mr Wolfgang Köhler was born in Wildberg near Calw, Germany, on 10 November 1959. He is married and has two children. Having finished grammar school and completed a banking apprenticeship with GZB Bank in Stuttgart, Mr Köhler studied computer science and industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe, where he received his degree in 1986. In 1996, he commenced a correspondence course at the CFA Institute in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA, and received his qualification as a Chartered Financial Analyst in 1998. Mr Köhler started his professional career in 1988, when he joined the investment banking business of SGZ Bank in Frankfurt/Main. He was appointed Head of Management Board Sekretariat in 1993. From 1996 to April 2001 he was responsible for SGZ-BANK s money markets and derivatives business, as Head of Treasury and Risk Controlling. His duties during this period also included working on the bank s internal task force for establishing and developing its Singapore branch. Following a brief appointment as the Head of Risk Controlling at GZ-Bank in Frankfurt, Mr Köhler joined DZ BANK AG in September 2001, as the Head of Group Treasury. He was appointed to the Management Board of DZ BANK International S.A. in January 2003, and served as its spokesman from July 2003 to October 2007. Mr Köhler has been a Member of the Board of Managing Directors of DZ BANK AG since 15 October 2007. As such, he is responsible for the Group Treasury and Capital Markets Institutional Clients divisions. Furthermore, he is in charge of DZ BANK AG s foreign branches and representative offices, and the business with local cooperative banks in Hesse, Thuringia, Saxony, Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania and Saxony- Anhalt. Prof Dr h. c. Stephan Götzl Prof Dr Stephan Götzl was born in Kemnath, Stadt/Oberpfalz, Germany, on 3 February 1960. He has one son. Having finished grammar school and completed a commercial apprenticeship at Siemens AG, Prof Götzl studied Business Administration at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, receiving his degree in 1987. Prof Götzl began his career path in 1987 at Siemens AG in Berlin, as the Head of Organisation. He left in 1988 to become a Senior Advisor for strategy and organisation at Kienbaum Unternehmensberatung in Dusseldorf. After serving as a State Secretary of the Environment and Health for the Rhineland- Palatinate state government, Prof Götzl returned to Siemens AG in 1992, where he served on the Divisional Management Board for Transportation Technology in Erlangen until 1996. From 1996 to 1999 he served as the Managing Director of Pfleiderer Infrastrukturtechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Neumarkt. Prof Götzl left to join the Bavarian Industry Association (Vereinigung der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e. V.) on 1 July 1999, as the Executive Director of the Bavarian Metal and Electrical Industries Association (Verband der Bayerischen Metall- und Elektroindustrie e. V.). He then helped to establish the Association of Bavarian Metalworking and Electrical Industries (Bayerische Unternehmensverband Metall und Elektro e. V.) in July 2000, continuing as its Executive Director. Prof Götzl has been President and Chief Executive of Genossenschaftsverband Bayern e. V. since 1 January 2005. He is Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Association Council of the National Association of German Cooperative Banks. Prof Götzl received an honorary doctorate from the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in May 2011. Dr Peter Klaus Dr Peter Klaus was born in Guben/Niederlausitz, Germany, on 9 April 1944. He is married and has two children. Having finished grammar school in Aalen, Baden Württemberg, Dr Klaus completed a banking apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank in Stuttgart and Aalen. He then studied Business Administration at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, and received his degree in 1969. Dr Klaus completed his doctorate at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 1972, earning his PhD in Political Sciences. That same year he joined Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) in Frankfurt/Main. From there he went to Bonn, where he was assigned to work in various departments in the Federal Ministry of Finance from 1976 to 1977. In 1990, Dr Klaus assumed direction of Export and Project Financing for the transport sector at KfW. He was appointed by KfW s Board of Directors to the bank s Management Board on 1 October 1999. Until his retirement on 1 May 2007, he was responsible for export and project financing, including aircraft and shipping finance, and the development of KfW IPEX Bank, amongst others. Dr Klaus was a member of the Maritime Forum of the European Commission in Brussels, as well as a member of the Supervisory Boards of a number of German and international companies. Dr Klaus was a member of the Supervisory Board of DVB Bank AG from 1999 to 2005 and was re-elected by the General Meeting on 10 June 2009. Dr Klaus Nittinger Dr Klaus Nittinger was born in Wolfenbüttel, Germany, on 28 January 1944. He is married and has two sons. In addition to studying mechanical engineering in Hanover, Dr Nittinger also studied aerospace and systems engineering at the Technical University of Berlin after finishing grammar school. He received his degree in Engineering in 1970. Dr Nittinger is also a graduate of the management programmes administered by Stanford and Harvard Universities, USA. Dr Nittinger was an assistant at MBB-ERNO, the Bremen-based aerospace company, from 1970 to 1972, after which he began to work on his dissertation on air pollution control at the Technical University of Berlin, completing it in 1974. Dr Nittinger began working at Lufthansa in the Technical Projects department in 1974. After filling a number of managerial roles within the Lufthansa Group, he was appointed by the Supervisory Board as a member of the Executive Board on 14 May 1991. He assumed responsibility for the Technology Division on 1 January 1992. Upon Lufthansa s restructuring, Dr Nittinger became Chief Executive Operations on 1 January 1995. His realm of responsibilities included flight operations, technical operations, and aircraft management. After leaving Lufthansa, Dr Nittinger joined BMW Rolls-Royce GmbH in 1997, assuming the role of Chairman of the engine manufacturer s Management Board. Since 1 August 2000 Dr Nittinger has been acting as a consultant to the Group Management Board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG on matters concerning strategic and operational fleet planning, the environment and the application of new technology. Dr Nittinger received the William Littlewood Award for his outstanding contributions in the field of civil aviation from the AIAA/SAE (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) in January 2006. Dr Nittinger is a founding member of the Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany (aireg), serving as its president in 2011. Anders Ingebrigtsen Mr Anders Ingebrigtsen was born in Oslo, Norway, on 23 September 1950. He is married and has two children. After completing his commercial college education, Mr Ingebrigtsen started his studies at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and earned a Master s degree in Business Administration in 1975. From 1975 onwards Mr Ingebrigtsen held different positions in the management of Andresens Bank, which in 1980 merged with Christiania Bank og Kreditkasse (which subsequently formed Nordea with MeritaNordbanken in 2000). Mr Ingebrigtsen served as Managing Director of Chrisitiania Bank Luxembourg SA from 1980 to 1985; from 1985 onwards he was responsible for the bank s Shipping/Transportation division and for Corporate Clients from 1992 to 1993, both in the function of Executive Vice President. From 1993 until 2011 he served as Managing Director with the following ship management and ship owning companies: 1993 1996: Jorgen Jahre Shipping AS 1997 1999: Merkur Tankers AS (stocklisted) 1999 2011: Loki ASA (stocklisted) and Oceanlink Management AS (which took over the business of Loki ASA in 2003) Since 2011, Mr Ingebrigtsen he has been serving as the Managing Director of Koenig AS in Oslo, Norway, a family-owned company offering a range of advisory services for the shipping industry, including advice on shipping finance. On 12 June 2014 Mr Ingebrigtsen will be up for election for DVB Bank SE s Supervisory Board for the first time.
