Remove Running boards & bracket kit from boxing to confirm you have a complete kit. If missing part or hardware fallow instruction on cove sheet. 2. Starting from the front wheel weld, locate the factory mounting locations. The locations will be the ATS bracket mounting locations. See figure 1 Figure 1 ATTENTION: 3. On some Silverado s there may be factory welded nuts on the mounting locations. The welded nuts need to be removed. Drill 3/8 hole through the weld nut and use a 17mm wrench to twist off welded nut. See figure 2, 3, 4. Figure 2
Figure 3 Figure 4 Figure 5 4. On the front passenger side locations 1& 2 there is a diesel fuel tank along the bracket locations. For location 1 & 2 there is location specific brackets provided in kit. See figure 5, 6. Figure 6 This tank cannot be moved or adjusted. 5. Identify the bracket stamped (BRK-F16) for location (1). Install the bracket, through an opening between the pinch weld and tank strap. Side the bracket up and behind the pinch weld onto the factory location. Use a 5/16 hex head bolt, washer & nylock nut attach the bracket. Leave loose at this time. See figure 7, 8, 9. Figure 7 Figure 8 Figure 9

Install bracket onto the pinch weld factory location. Use a 5/16 hex head bolt, washer & nylock nut attach the bracket. Leave loose at this time. See figure 10. Figure 10 7. Once the bracket is line up on the rocker panel, in location 2, use an 8mm bolt in the factory locations at the top of the mounting bracket on the rocker panel. 8. In location 3-4 you will find a small factory round rubber plug. Remove plug and slide the 5/16 speed clip through the larger hole until it lines up with the smaller hole. This will be used as the threaded fastener. See figure 11, 12, 13. NOTE: This is a 5/16 threaded clip, do not use the 8mm bolt. Figure 11 Figure 12 Figure 13 9. After installing the speed clip, in locations 3-4 line up the bracket onto the rocker panel. Use the 5/16 Hex Head bolt & washer to install along with 5/16 Hex Head bolt, washer & nylock nut through pinch weld and bracket. Leave loose at this time. See figure 14, 15.
