1 Contact STEP 3 Play 1 Finding new prospects When thinking about the people outside of your friends, family and acquaintances you need to pay attention to the world around you and make sure you are networking with a purpose. Be aware of everywhere you are able to contact people. Here is a list of places you may find new prospects: Restaurants Grocery Stores Gyms Sporting Events Children s Activities The Bowling Alley The Post Office The Coffee Shop The Mall Daycare School Programs The Florist Community Events At Work Gas Stations The Car Wash Church Meetings The Park Garage Sales Bookstores The Library Pet Stores Pharmacies Concerts Turn over to write down places you frequently visit that could produce prospecting Members and customers.

2 Excite STEP 3 Play 1 Relationship Building Questions Where are you from? You are super sharp. Can I ask what you do for a living? How did you get started in the business? How long have you worked here? What do you enjoy most about what you do? That is a great car. How do you like it? That is a great outfit. Where did you get it? Those are great shoes. Where did you get them? I ve never bought that (grocery item). Do you like it? Your purse is so cute. Where did you get it? You child is so cute. How old is (s)he? Here is an example of how to use the above questions in a real life scenario: You: How are you? Where are you from? What do you do for a living? Them: I m in the business. You: How long have you been doing that? Them: years. You: You must love what you do. Them: Not really, I am just making enough money to pay the bills. You: Do you keep your options open for earning more money? TURN OVER

Relationship Building Questions After you have established a relationship, use the same Three Step approach to EXCITE: 1. Create Urgency Now isn t the time to get into this and I have to go, but I have to run, but I am working on something huge but need to head to another appointment. I am so busy right now but need to share something with you. My phone is ringing off the hook but I really need to find time to meet with you. 2. Compliment Sincerely You ve given me some of the best service I ve ever received. You ve made a fantastic experience. You are so good at what you do. Work must be fulfilling. I was very impressed on how you treated that customer. I have been doing this for years but you make it look so easy. 3. Generate Excitement and Determine Interest Do you keep your career options open? Do you plan on doing what you re doing now for the rest of your career? How would your life change with an extra $500 or $1000 a month? Have you earned enough money in your career to retire when you want? What are your top 3 life goals or dreams if time or money were not an issue? When they answer Yes, INVITE them to learn more. Your waiter or waitress: You: So how long have you worked here? Do you enjoy it? Them: 4 years. Yes, I really enjoy what I do. You: I did notice you have a very strong personality and you are very good with people. Them: 4 years. No, I am ready for a change. You: Oh sorry to hear that. I am in the process of making a change in my career as well. I am ready for something greater in my life. Man or women walking next to you at the gym: You: I love working out in the morning. Them: Me too. You: Do you always come to this gym in the morning? Them: Yes, I just live around the corner. You: Oh great. Maybe I will see you here more often. TURN OVER
