Cathy Normann Happy New Year PartyLite! After enjoying holiday time with family and friends it s time to get focused on 2016. I ve recently been reflecting on how grateful I am for my PartyLite business and the opportunities it has allowed for me and those close to me. What did that look like for you in 2015? I encourage you to take some time following this call to take a look back at your business this past year what were the highlights? What went right? What went wrong? What difference did the income or flexibility make for you? For others? Where could you improve? Maybe there were even missed opportunities that you learned from? If so Reflect, be grateful the for lessons and then let them go.. and get ready rock 2016 cuz today is a new day!! Have you thought about what you want 2016 to look like? Are you ready to make it your best year ever? Today IS a NEW day with PartyLite!!! Can you feel it? I know I can. After 17 years with this company I can truly say I am more excited than ever to be a part of PartyLite! With Harry Slatkin, our new CEO at the helm and learning of his vision for PartyLite to become the #1 premier home fragrance brand, I find myself getting re-excited and re-energized. Learning of his core values to do this with honesty, integrity and passion. values that are close to my heart and I m sure many of yours. About his vision to create product and experiences that help consultants, hosts and customers create their own personal stories. My excitement continues to bubble up and I am excited to be a part of it as we move forward together.

What is your story? Your vision for 2016? Figuring out your goals and vision and how PartyLite play a part in that story in 2016 is your first step in getting your business set up for January. Is your goal to do a couple parties a month for fun? Is your goal to feed your own addiction to our fabulous products? Then do yourself a favor make a commitment right now to work the company sales promotions like the 2 and 4 party challenges every month so you can use your income to make a difference in your life and the lives of those around you while still getting out and having fun and getting those products for yourself. Is your goal to earn Cabo or take the $1000 cash reward? Is your goal to make a full time income working part-time hours? Does the idea of flexibility of working smart instead of hard excite you? It s achievable by simply doing a couple of parties a week. Be honest with yourself and book more parties than you want to hold and make sure you are working with your hosts to make sure that they have the best possible party experience. In turn, the more spoiled your host is, the more income you make. Is your goal to earn $1000 a week for you and your family? Do you enjoy seeing others succeed? You may want to consider leadership. Leadership with PartyLite is truly where it is at beyond the substantial increase in income, is the feelings that come from helping others to create their story it s not something that you can put a price tag on. You owe it to yourself f to ask your leader for the info and then make the decision whether or not it s for you! If you do not have a goal I will suggest looking at the promos PartyLite has in place for us as consultants and choose one that appeals to you...boom you have

your goal! So I ask you again, to decide what you want from your PartyLite business this year and make a commitment to go for it! Step #2 is to commit to your goal. When you hesitate, you give yourself the chance to draw back so... Begin it now. Its about making the decision and putting it out there. It is amazing what can happen when you actually, wholeheartedly commit to something - all sorts of things begin to happen to help you towards those goals. Many of you may have heard of the law of attraction right? Same concept, however you need to also be willing to make an effort to go after what you want. What do the last 6 letters in the word attraction spell? That s right - ACTION. If I know one thing for sure it is that Action ALWAYS beats intention The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you DO... Step #3 is to take action So if your goal is to complete PartyLite s challenge to earn the two or 4 party rewards. Or if you want to earn a certain amount of income, the trip to Cabo to make $1000 to put towards Christmas bills, start by taking action today and commit until you reach your goal. It s the beginning of January and you have 26 days and almost 4 weeks to do it. Achievable? Absolutely! Where would be a great place to start?

its simple are you ready? The secret is really no secret. We are a party business people Focus on the parties and your three goals as consultant: 1. showing people how to fragrance and decorate their spaces using our amazing guest offers 2. How to save money on their décor and by becoming a January host 3. Sharing how others can make money and enhance their lives by offering our income opportunity WE HAVE SO M UCH TO B E EXCITED ABOUT R IGHT NOW BE PROUD! Step #4 is to book parties OUR PARTIES are where we meet more people to become our future hosts,... this business is far more simple when we just do it instead of thinking about it let s not complicate it after all we are pretty fortunate when you think about it we get paid to party. So now with that said its go time. This is the week to pick up the phone and set yourself up for January Success! But first you need a list of people to call. Develop a new FRANKIE list or use the 40 contacts in 4 minutes to think of new people to call. Think about Facebook too there are so many opportunities to reach out to people. Use a January booking script that references the incredible promos PartyLite has given us to book January parties use them to get yourself the number of parties you want to achieve the goal you set this month.

For example: 1) If no to a booking. No worries let them know that you are sooooo pumped that you are hosting a debut show of your own to launch the line and you would love to have them and a friend or two attend as your special guests 2) If they can t join you let them know that you have a very special VIP offer this week only where you can offer them double bundles and BOGO jars and offer to pop by with a catalogue and the new smells or take an order right then over the phone 3) Or, say - You might be able to help me out with something else I am currently in qualification for a free trip to Los Cabos and looking for a few people that might be interested in earning some extra income this month or perhaps even a free trip of their own courtesy of PartyLite. As most of you know, picking up the phone or talking to someone in person is the best way to secure bookings they need to hear the excitement in your voice about what we have to offer and the promos this month are truly out of this world. Did you know that our average hostess in January has the opportunity to walk away with over $700 in new product and fragrance for about $100 when she hosts a show with 10 orders before the 16 th? That s crazy!!! Who would you like to spoil? Imagine yourself as the hostess even!? What a great way to add to your kit for FREE!

Step #5 Nurture the business you already have: Schedule in any upcoming meeting dates as those who participate in regular training are far more successful than those who don t Block the new dates you want to do parties into your calendar Reach out to any of those hostesses who have already booked January parties and let them know how excited you are to share this amazing new line and the crazy deals with them and their friends and family. Chances are if you have been in holiday mode, so are they it s up to you to get them excited about inviting guests your excitement will be contagious Reach out to preferred members with points expiring - this customer service call could turn into a booking or sponsoring call If you do not have a launch party planned you may want to consider choosing one or both of those dates to hold your own launch party and begin inviting today. If the 7 th or 8 th doesn t work or is too short of notice choose another date before the 16 th. You could choose to use this party to build up your kit for free with the host credit or perhaps you d like to do it as a mystery hostess event where one lucky shopper or booker gets the host freebies. If you are lucky enough to live in a city where a leader is hosting a group product launch do yourself and your business a favor and do whatever it takes to get guests out. Your leader team is committed to helping you build your business in 2016 and this is the perfect kickoff!

Step #6 - BOOKINGS FROM LAUNCHES - Another way to secure bookings for January is at your January launch parties with the launch parties being held on the 7 th and 8 th that leaves 3 weeks to spoil hostesses with double hostess credit. A few tips on how to do that are: a) Booking seeds during your show demo b) Hostess stacking by choosing a volunteer to demonstrate visually how much our January hostesses receive c) A bonus draw or incentive for choosing one of your available dates d) Referral gifts using the free tealight coupons for example when they refer a friend who books a show or places an order within 24hrs e) Sometimes we don t get the chance to personally chat with all of our guests at our busy launch events, follow up calls within 24 hrs of these events can go a long way in securing future bookings too Step #7 STAY ACCOUNTABLE to yourself and your goals you are worth it! There is going to be days you don t want to pick up the phone and guess what - you are going to get nos, you are going to have cancellations, there will be bumps along the way. It s how you react to them that will determine your success. Step #8 remain Consistent with your actions It is also important to remain consistent with doing the actions that are income generating and move your business forward. Even if its one simple thing a day they say it takes 21 days to create a habit we have 26 days left in January imagine the head start you will have if you start today

You need to be the one that decides what is more important to you - your goals you have set and your story that you want to create OR the excuses you allow to stand in your way from writing the story you and those around you deserve. REMEMBER, the difference between who you were yesterday and who you will be tomorrow, lies in what you are willing to do today Why not do something today that your future self will thank you for? 2016 Is your year!
