BUILDING SOMETHING STRONGER.

1 WE WANT TO MAKE KANSAS CITY A BETTER PLACE BY INVESTING IN THESE THREE THINGS: COMMUNITY, PHILANTHROPY AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

A FEW WORDS FROM OUR PRESIDENT STRENGTH IN NUMBERS. STABILITY THROUGH GROWTH. We have seen incredible growth over the past few years due to our foundation of relationship banking. Bank of Blue Valley continues to be the local community bank that our customers have trusted for 28 years, while offering the latest technology and an advanced digital experience through our website, bankbv.com and our BankofBV mobile app. We are committed to maintaining a high level of customer service with our knowledgeable Banking Specialists in each of our five locations, as well as our friendly HelpLine staff there to answer your calls or respond to a Live Chat. Relationship banking at its core means not just asking for our customer s loan business, or just their deposit business, or just their wealth management business, but asking for a relationship where we can serve them in as many ways as possible. I m proud to report that in 2017 we asked and our customers responded! The result was significant growth in both loans and deposits with relationship banking at the heart of that growth. While we have been serving the wealth management needs of our customers for many years, we have a new team in place and a newly formed Registered Investment Advisory firm, Blue Valley Wealth Advisors, Inc. We are excited about this new entity and our ability to assist our clients with a more personalized and comprehensive suite of products. It allows us to provide a full-service financial approach to our customers business cash management services, business loans, personal financial services and loans, private banking and investment management. Bank of Blue Valley is well positioned to assist with all of our customers financial needs. In addition, we continue to build on our three pillars of Community, Philanthropy and Entrepreneurship. We keep these pillars in the forefront of our minds so they are reflected in our decisions and actions every day. The Bank and its employees donated more than $287,000 last year to a variety of local non-profits. It s important to us to continue to give back to our community and help local entrepreneurs build their businesses and celebrate their success. ROBERT D. REGNIER President & CEO

3 LET S TAKE A LOOK AT SOME NUMBERS. 5 I became a banker because I wanted to help business owners achieve their dreams. This is the philosophy that resounds with all of Bank of Blue Valley s business bankers. Since our founding 28 years ago, Bank of Blue Valley has focused on developing strong, trusted partnerships with our business clients. Through our hands-on, solutions-based process we are committed to being more than a bank, but rather developing a true investment of our expertise in our clients businesses. We offer our creative, flexible expertise to identify outsidethe-box options bringing value-added support to our customers, making us the ultimate community bank partner. Bank of Blue Valley is proud to have increased our commitment within the community by growing our loan portfolio. This financial investment includes numerous business start-ups, and has propelled further development of existing local businesses. The loan portfolio mix chart illustrates our dedication to serving the commercial lending needs of our community. Lending is just one part of our business banking approach; our Treasury Management division is a vital component of business banking. Our Treasury Management professionals utilize cutting-edge technology, combined with personalized service, to provide local business owners and decision makers with the resources they need to WE DO BIG THINGS FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES BY NEVER THINKING SMALL. We continue to invest in making sure our clients have access to the products and services the big banks deliver, but with the personal touch and relationship that only a local, community bank can provide! LOAN PORTFOLIO MIX $375 MILLION IN NEW LOANS SINCE 2015

OUR ONLINE BANKING TOOLS CONTINUE TO EVOLVE. OUR VALUES DO NOT. PERSONAL & DIGITAL BANKING While we recently remodeled our banking center in Overland Park and have plans for renovations to our other locations, we recognize the impact and benefits that technology has presented to our business. We aim to keep our digital banking presence at the forefront of convenience, functionality and security. Technology has made it possible for the bank to engage with its customers in a multitude of ways on multiple platforms. We embrace this opportunity and have invested resources to enhance service offerings and explore new possibilities. The importance of strengthening our digital banking services is of paramount importance to us. We continue to build on the success of our online/mobile account opening service by expanding available account offerings and adding functionality, like mobile photo data capture, to support a mobile conscious design. We ve seen a steady adoption of our mobile banking app which features mobile deposit and fingerprint ID functionality. Our website, bankbv.com is more than a website, it is a digital banking center offering online account opening, access to online banking, helpful information and video tutorials, along with a new Online Security Center updated regularly with recent fraud alerts and scam information. Furthermore, we ve advanced our debit card offering to include EMV chip technology along with compatibility with major Digital Wallets, i.e., Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, and MasterPass. Flexibility, convenience, and security are the key elements we evaluate when pursuing opportunities to strengthen our digital and card services now and into the future! WE OFFER THE BUSINESS, PERSONAL AND WEALTH MANAGEMENT SERVICES OF A LARGER FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, WITH THE CHARM OF A 28 YEAR-OLD COMMUNITY BANK.

7 OUR WEALTH MANAGEMENT TEAM HAS ONE GOAL: TO HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOURS. WEALTH MANAGEMENT One of the areas we have focused on the last few years is our Wealth Management division. In mid-2016, Todd York joined Bank of Blue Valley as Senior Vice President of Wealth Management and in 2017, we formed Blue Valley Wealth Advisors, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisory firm. In addition to our traditional wealth management offerings of Private Banking, Trust, and Brokerage services, Blue Valley Wealth Advisors enables us to provide highly personalized, goals-based investment management services. As a full-service community bank, we see this as a logical addition to our existing Wealth Management division and we are well-qualified to deliver the high level of care and service our customers associate with Bank of Blue Valley.
