Explore Options - Automotive Program Faculty have expressed enthusiasm regarding new and consistent toolboxes and benches Faculty were impressed with the Asset Management Software used at the benchmark sites Need to ensure upgrades do not negatively impact existing students or impact the program s accreditation Need to have the ongoing budget to support any changes Faculty want to maintain their academic freedom and modality of training Happy to have support from the Chancellor and Board to upgrade the shop
Explore Options Building and Construction Technology Program Faculty support changes in the program that further the program s contribution to the community Includes possibilities of partnerships with industry, addressing commercial applications, and teaching opportunities integrated into new or existing College facilities Program needs support to be able to implement changes, in particular regarding space Before making changes, the College should assess community need in this area to ensure changes are aligned with those needs and that there will be jobs for students when they complete the program
