Remove screw and lock cam from file cabinet front upright. Unless a roll-out shelf with media compartment kit is to be installed, remove suspensions. LOCK CAM SCREW DRAWER SUSPENSION 3 of 14

Section 1 Pull-Out Shelf and Workshelf Removal Remove (2) screws and hex nuts from each side of pull-out shelf. Next remove shelf from suspensions. Now remove (2) screws and suspension from each mounting plate assembly. Next remove (1) screw at the front of each mounting plate assembly and remove from cabinet. Refer to Fig. A. Remove (2) screws from each side of workshelf. Next remove workshelf from suspension. Now remove (2) screws, (2) rear stops and suspension from each mounting plate assembly. Next remove (1) screw at the front of each mounting plate assembly and remove from cabinet. Refer to Fig. B. SCREW (2) Req. Section 1 Door Removal On 15 doors only, lift rear tabs of door equalizer from rear slot in door tracks. 5 of 14

Section 1 Sliding Door Removal 1. With hands on each side of right hand door, exert pressure downward and snap top glide from upper track Left hand door removes in the same manner. Refer to Fig. A. Section 1 Removal of Component Side, Back and Bottom Panels 1. Remove (1) screw from each side panel rear flange. Now tilt the back panel forward and allow tabs to become free from slots in bottom panel. Next remove back panel from cabinet. Refer to Fig. A 2. 3. Remove (2) screws from each side panel bottom flange. Now tilt bottom panel up and remove from cabinet. Refer to Fig. B Remove (2) screws from each front upright. Now swing front of each side panel inward and pull out of cabinet. Refer to Fig. C. Section 2 s 8,9 and 10 For all Electronic Media Storage Compartments except Wire Rack installed in bottom cabinet opening 1. Insert side panel tabs into rear slots that line up when front (2) screw holes in side panel line up with proper attaching holes in cabinet upright. Secure with (2) screws. Refer to Fig. A. Typical all cabinet openings. 2. 3. Insert bottom shelf by sliding shelf in and resting on bottom flange of side panels, secure with (2) screws, each side. If back screws cannot be reached, shelf can be secured with clips. Refer to Fig. B. Position and secure (1) door stop with (1) screw to each cabinet upright. Refer to Fig. C. Installing Center Hook Bar for Hanging Bound Printouts and Magnetic Tape Reels 1. Lift center hook over top edge of side panels and secure with (2) screws each side. SIDE PANELS CENTER HOOK BAR ASSEMBLY SCREWS (NO. 8) Installing T Bar Components for Hanging Bound Printouts 1. Lift T Bar component over top edge of side panels and secure with (2) screws each side. Installing Wire Rack with Adjustable Wire Dividers for Tape Reels into all Cabinet openings except the bottom opening 1. Secure wire rack to side panels with (2) screws each side. Next insert adjustable wire dividers into desired holes. SIDE PANELS WIRE RACK SCREWS (NO. 8) (2) each side ADJUSTABLE WIRE DIVIDERS 10 of 14

Section 3 11 Installing Wire Rack with Adjustable Wire Dividers for Tape Reels into the bottom opening 1. When installing a wire rack into a cabinet bottom opening, it will require removing enough existing units to create a minimum height clearance of 27. Refer to Fig. A. Tilt one end of wire rack up (with side panels attached) and insert into bottom opening of cabinet as shown in Fig. C. Now position and secure side panels into cabinet in the same manner as shown on page 8. Now re-install and secure lock catches that were removed in step 1 above SIDE PANELS Fig. C WIRE RACK 11 of 14

Section 4 s 12, 13 and 14 Installing a Roll-Out Shelf with Media Compartment Kit Please note: If your file cabinet is already equipped with the required 6 high roll-out shelf, proceed onto Step 4 13 of these directions. CAUTION: SUSPENSION MAY HAVE SHARP EDGES! ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES WHEN REMOVING OR INSTALLING SUSPENSIONS CABINET FRONT UPRIGHT CABINET REAR UPRIGHT SLOTS REAR HORIZONTAL TABS 1. Insert suspensions rear tabs into cabinet rear upright slots. Next insert suspension front vertical and horizontal tabs into cabinet front upright. Refer to Fig. A. SUSPENSION LH. SHOWN RH. 3. Extend suspensions outward, and position 6 shelf onto them. Be sure shelf tab is inserted into each suspension slot, and both shelf blisters have snapped into the square holes on each suspension. Refer to Fig. C. SHELF ASSEMBLY BLISTERS SUSPENSION SHELF TAB Fig. C 4. Place divider shelf assembly into shelf assembly as shown in Fig s D.
