Connect this device to a properly installed and earthed wall outlet only. Make sure the mains voltage corresponds with the specifications on the rating plate. Please switch off the radio immediately if water or liquids is spilled into the radio. Consult with the shop where you bought this radio for any question. Avoid using or storing the unit in dusty or sandy environment. Do not open and repair the radio by yourself. Use only the specified power input voltage to charge the battery. Connecting a power supply with a different rating will cause permanent damage to the radio and may be hazardous. Clean only with dry cloth. 1

BASIC OPERATION DAB150 / English Instruction Manual The radio is powered by the built-in lithium battery. A USB cable is supplied in the product package. Charging battery You can check the level of battery power remains on the radio. When the radio is playing, press the INFO/SLEEP button repeatedly until you see the battery indicator on the bottom right of the display. Getting started Press the /MODE button to power on the unit. To power off the radio, press and hold the same button. Volume Control Press the VOL- or VOL+ button to decrease or increase the volume. Change radio mode When the radio is power on, press the FM. RADIO MODE /MODE button to select the mode between DAB and DAB station scan The first time you power on the radio, it will scan the DAB radio stations automatically. It will display and play the first station after the scan is done. In case it displays No DAB Service, press and hold the SCAN/PRESET button until the unit starts scanning. Tune DAB station Press the CH- or CH+ button to choose other radio channels. Release the button when it displays the station you want to play and it will start playing automatically. FM scan Change to FM mode by pressing the /MODE button. Press and hold the SCAN/PRESET button and the unit will start the scan. It will scan to the next available station. To manual scan, use the CH- or CH+ button. And it will fine tune the frequency in a step of 50kHz. Preset Press the SCAN/PRESET button and it will display Preset 1 unset. Choose the number of preset by CH- or CH+ button where you want to save the station. Then press and hold the ENTER button until the unit shows Saved. To recall the preset station, press the SCAN/PRESET button shortly and use the CH- or CH+ button to navigate. At least press ENTER button to confirm. 2

DAB150 / English Instruction Manual Information (Info) When the radio station is playing, press the INFO/SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through the information broadcasted by the radio as follow: Under DAB DLS (Dynamic Label Segmenting): Radio text broadcasted from DAB station such as the news, songs being played, etc) PTY (Programme Type): shows which type of program are you listening (Music, Talk, News etc). If there are no information, it will display Programme Type. Channel/Frequency: The frequency of DAB-Station is displayed such as 11C 220.352MHz. Audio info: The display shows the digital audio bit rate of the current reception. Signal error: The signal strength is displayed graphically. Time/Date: The time and date are set automatically. Frequency: The FM frequency for the radio station is playing. Auto / Stereo: Automatic switching between mono and stereo reception. SLEEP TIMER The sleep timer switches the radio off automatically after an adjustable time. 1. Press and hold the INFO/SLEEP button to enter the sleep timer setting 2. Press the CH- or CH+ button to choose the timer options 15/30/45/60/90/off. 3. Press ENTER to confirm the setting. To cancel the sleep timer, select OFF from the timer options and press ENTER to confirm. FACTORY RESET Turn the radio off. Press and hold the /MODE and SCAN/PRESET buttons together until the display show RESET System. The radio will reboot and starts a new scan on DAB-Mode.
