As I mentioned a moment ago, I have included some additional training in the attached PDF. The reason I created this for you is that I have been asked a few times now about how to best stay focused on goals and inmy opinion, the answer to that is through a vision board. Because of that, in the PDF I included training about vision boards, why they are effective, some tips for creating one for yourself and I also provided a few examples. Last, of all, I am putting together a report called Holiday Sales and Shopping Trends for the Remainder of 2017, that I will be providing it to all of you with the next my amazing update. The purpose of this report is I see a tremendous opportunity with so many of you that are not taking advantage of the different holidays in the USA that drive lots of sales. We give so much attention to Christmas and Black Friday, but there are so many opportunities outside of these two that can result in a lot of extra sales. The report will include some basic information about the holidays, along with some stats, and tips so you can start mapping out your sales strategies. Vision Board Training: It is no secret that creating goals is a necessity for anyone to be able to have direction in business or life. The challenge, however, is once you create those goals, what motivates you to keep working towards them. For me, I have found that it starts with having a bigger purpose behind the goals that I set. Having a goal to grow your business is fine, but why do you want to grow your business? If your answer is to earn more revenue, then I challenge you to think about that and then respond to the question, why do you want to do that? Tying specific reasons to earn more revenue, makes it personal to you. Here are a few examples of some reasons you might have for wanting to earn more revenue: Buy a dream home on a lake. Buy a boat and live on it for a year. Get a brand new Porsche 911 Turbo S. Save enough money for your retirement. Take your parents on a dream vacation to Hawaii. Pay for your child s education at Harvard University. Create a foundation to help kids with childhood cancer. Quit your job so you can stop spending two hours a day in traffic. Once you can pinpoint the real reasons behind why you are doing things, you start to hit on the emotional triggers, which are what give you the drive to push through to achieving those goals. What I mean by that is, your goals should always be challenging enough that you hit roadblocks. These roadblocks might be something as simple as having to learn something new. When you hit these roadblocks, if the barrier seems bigger than the goal itself, it s very easy to move on to other things. For example, if the thought of having to learn how to run FB ads seems huge to you, and your company is already earning decent revenue, it would be easy to say we are earning enough, I don t want to do this. If, on the other hand, the reason for doing the FB ads is to make more revenue so you can save for your dream car, then if that is truly a dream of yours, the challenge of learning FB ads is a small price to pay for being able to achieve that. This is where vision boards come into effect as a great tool for keeping you motivated on achieving your goals. Copyright 2017 All Rights Reserved Amazing.com 4
A vision board is a visual representation of YOUR reasons why. There are loads of different ways you can create a vision board, but the thing to focus on is making it work for you. So a simple search on Google for vision board examples and you will see thousands of examples. You will see some as basic as a corkboard with a few pictures on it, to some that, in my opinion, look like complicated collages. Some people like to put motivational quotes and others just have a few simple pictures. What your vision board looks like is not as important as ensuring your vision board is what motivates you. Whether it is pictures on the wall, a collage or anything in between, here are a few tips for helping you not only create the right vision board for you but also help you get the most out of using your vision board. This is MY vision board that represents goals and dreams in areas of MY life that I want to achieve. Put a date on your vision board for when it was created and update this vision board every year. You might not change anything on it, but priorities change in life, and you want to make sure your biggest reasons why are depicted. It is placed in an area that I can easily see while I am working. Take time each morning to look at your vision board and dream a little about each of your goals and what achieving those things represents in your life. Believe in yourself that these goals are already yours. You just need to keep taking action to live them. For example, if building a house, you can't live in it when the foundation is just being poured, but the house is already yours, but there are things that need to be done before you can live in it. Nothing is set in stone, if after a few months your priorities change, then you can update your vision board. The most important thing is it represents what motivates you. Here are some examples of different vision boards I found online. If none of these resonate with you, search for other examples until you find something you like. If you do find one you like, make sure to use it as a guideline but ensure you incorporate the tips mentioned above (especially the date). Copyright 2017 All Rights Reserved Amazing.com 5
