Also Present: Mick Starcevich, President; Sheryl Cook, Secretary. Chair Bartelme called the meeting to order at 4:35 p.m. Trustees Harrington and Glenn moved and seconded approval of the amended minutes of the regular board meeting held July 9, 2009, and directed them to be made a part of the permanent record. Motion carried: 8-0. Trustees Mollenhauer and Rogers moved and seconded approval of the agenda. Motion carried: 8-0. REPORTS OF PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY Steve Carpenter gave the Kirkwood report. Melissa Jensen reported on campus security and emergency procedures. Tom Kaldenberg shared information on a wind energy grant. Mick Starcevich reported on State General Aid for fiscal years 2010 and 2011. CONSENT AGENDA Trustees Glenn and Hall moved and seconded approval of the Consent Agenda. Motion carried: 8-0. A. Motion carried: 8-0. Trustees Rogers and Stamp moved and seconded approval of appointing Kent L. Statler to the Kirkwood Foundation Board of Directors. Motion carried: 8-0.

Trustees Rogers and Mollenhauer moved and seconded approval of the Workforce Training and Economic Development Fund FY 2010 and FY 2011 Proposed Plan. Motion carried: 8-0.
