Solomon Herbert Solomon Graham (1876-1944) Solomon Herbert Graham was born February 2 nd 1876 in Center Madison Township Perry County Pennsylvania. He was baptized by Reverend J. B. Crist. He married Leah Frances (Fanny) Sowers May 6 th 1897. 1 Fanny was born May 19 th 1875, in Liberty Valley, Perry County Pennsylvania. 2 Solomon and Frances both had an 8 th grade education. In 1900 the family lived in Reedsville within Brown Township, Mifflin County Pennsylvania. While living in Reedsville Solomon was a blacksmith for the Standard Steel Works Division in Burnham, and a journeyman under Reuben S. Ulrich of Lewistown. Solomon was a member of the Knights of the Golden Eagle Castle in Reedsville. For about eight years Solomon would raise chickens and vegetables in Reedsville, while working for William B. Maclay near Belleville. By 1910 they lived in the Belleville area of Union Township, both in. The family moved to Liberty Township Logan County Ohio sometime after 1914. And by 1930 they were living in Jefferson Township Logan County Ohio. While there Solomon owned and operated a dairy farm. Solomon and Fanny and had 10 children. When Solomon died in 1944, five sons and two daughters were still living. i. David Sowers Graham was born December 5 th 1897, and was baptized by Reverend Weist. 3 He 1 st married Hazel V. Garber, and 2 nd to Ida V. who was born 1904 in Maryland. In 1944 David lived near Annapolis Maryland. David and Hazel had a son, Joseph H. Graham, who was born about 1918. Joe lived with his grandparents until he entered WW II. ii. Elizabeth Ellen Graham was born November 14 th 1899, and baptized by Reverend Spangler. 4 She married Pleasant Harrison and in 1944 they were living in West Liberty Ohio. iii. Ruth Graham was born April 19 th 1902, and died May 13 th 1902. 5 iv. Harry Robert Graham was born a twin April 2 nd 1903 in Reedsville area of Mifflin County. 6 He married Saloma in Ohio. Saloma was born 1906 in Ohio. In 1944 Harry and his family lived on Hillcrest Road, Bellefontaine Logan County Ohio. v. Harold Robert Graham was born a twin April 2 nd 1903, and died August 16 th 1903. 7 vi. Herbert N. Graham was born about 1908 in Pennsylvania. In 1944 he lived in the area of Bellefontaine Ohio. In 1930 he lived with his parents in Jefferson Township Logan County Ohio. He was known as Herbert Jr.

vii. Fredrick L. Graham was 7 years old in April 1910, and was born October 1909 in Pennsylvania. In 1930 and 1940 he lived with his parents in Jefferson Township Logan County Ohio. In 1944 he lived in the area of Bellefontaine Ohio. viii. John Phillip Graham was born February 15 th 1911, and died February 27 th 1911. 8 ix. Gordon W. Graham was born about 1914 in Ohio. In 1930 and 1940 he lived with his parents in Jefferson Township Logan County Ohio. In 1944 he lived in the area of Bellefontaine Ohio. x. Sarah Frances Graham was born about 1919 in Ohio. In 1930 and 1940 she lived with her parents in Jefferson Township Logan County Ohio. Frances married Byron Stewart, and in 1944 they were living in West Liberty Ohio. Fanny died January 31 st 1941 at her home near Bellefontaine Ohio. 9 Solomon had several heart attacks, and was seriously ill for five weeks before he died Tuesday morning at his home near Bellefontaine Ohio on September 12 th 1944. He was 68 years, 7 months, and 10 days old. 10

David Sowers Graham (1897-1966) David Sowers Graham was born December 5 th 1897, and was baptized by Reverend Weist. 11 David was 20 years old when he married 20 year old Hazel Viola Garber September 29 th 1917 in Bellefontaine Logan County Ohio. Hazel was born 1897 in West Liberty, Logan County, Ohio to Joseph B. Gabber 12 and Ellen Brooks. 13 Hazel Died May 18 th 1918 14 and David enlisted in the Navy, and in 1920 he was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, as a fireman on board the U.S.S. Eagle, for the United States, Military and Naval Forces. Hazel died as a result from the birth of her son. i. Joseph Herbert Graham was born April 12 th 1918 in Logan County, Ohio. He died April 11 th 1983 while living in Houston, Harris, Texas. In 1930 and 1940 a grandson, Joseph Graham, lived with Solomon in Jefferson Township Logan County Ohio. Joe was in WWII South Pacific. David remarried Ida V. and in 1940 they lived at 314 7 th Avenue Eastport, Anne Aundel Maryland., where he was a presser working for the Government. In 1944 David and his family lived near Annapolis in Annapolis County Maryland. 15 David and Ida had the following children. ii. iii. Frances M. Graham a daughter born 1923 in Maryland David Sowers Graham was born 1925 in Maryland. Enlisted in the Army July 11 th 1944 for the duration of the WW II or other emergency, plus six months, subject to the discretion of the President. iv. Wayne L. Graham was born March 19 th 1934 in Maryland. He died April 22 nd 2007 while living in Arnold, Anne Arundel, Maryland. 16 v. Joan Graham born 1938 in Maryland David died in 1966, and Ida V. died in 1977. They were both laid to rest in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens and Chapel Mausoleum in Anne Arundel County Maryland. 17

Harry Robert Graham (b. 1903) Harry Rand Graham was born April 2 nd 1903 in Reedsville area of Mifflin County. 18 Harry was 25 years old when he married 23 year old Saloma Yoder on October 18 th 1928 in Bellefontaine, Logan County Ohio. Saloma was born 1905 in Bellefontaine to Alf J. Yoder and Florence Roos. 19 In 1944 Harry and his family lived on Hillcrest Road, Bellefontaine Logan County Ohio. While there Harry was a caretaker. They had the following children. i. Harry Graham was born in 1929. He was a corporal in the Army during the Korean War. He married Barbara L. who was born in 1937. Harry died in 1991. They are buried in the Yoder Cemetery, West Liberty Logan County Ohio. 20 ii. Ruth Graham was born in 1931 iii. Eleanor Graham was born in 1932 iv. Helen Graham was born in 1933 v.
