BASIC CLAY INSTRUCTION with Polly O Hara and Aline Sherwood $125 Clay, glazes and firing included 7 Thursdays 6-9PM or 7 Saturdays 10Am-1PM beginning in March (Indicate your preference of days and you will be contacted by the instructor.) This 5 week class is geared toward the absolute beginner. The basics of wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques, glazing and firing will be covered in this fun, low-stress class. You will learn to prepare clay for the wheel, to center and to form a cylinder the starting point of cups, bowls, vases and other forms. You will also learn the basic hand-building techniques pinch, coil and slab. You will have the opportunity to combine the various techniques to create your own original pieces to take home. Ages: high school - adult CLAY PLAY WITH Renie Pollock Wednesdays 6:30-9:30PM beginning March 8 through Dec 6, 2017 High School Adult Ongoing session for hand-building and wheel throwing at all levels.
