Indaver Impex works in this field for: district water boards and drinking water companies the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, construction, steel and waste treatment industry Full service provider Sludge originating from your production process or water purification system can have a serious impact on your primary process, resulting in high costs. To avoid this, a customised solution is needed. You can subcontract all aspects of your sludge dewatering to Indaver Impex. Impex offers you guaranteed continuous dewatering, including operation and maintenance. Your sludge is dewatered on a fully-continuous or project basis, using permanent systems or mobile units. The best solution for your sludge With our mobile fleet and innovative technology, we can dewater your sludge on site. A wide range of dewatering techniques can be used depending on the composition of the sludge. Alternatively, we can design and build a permanent system tailored to your needs in close consultation with you. Our own maintenance department and back-up systems ensure maximum operational reliability. Innovative technology, dedicated staff and the correct chemical conditioning guarantee optimal sludge dewatering. Our added value By dewatering the sludge on your site, we substantially reduce the volume to be removed, so you save on transport and treatment costs. Our size, capacity and in-house expertise mean we can respond quickly because continuity of your production process is of paramount importance.
Sludge dewatering, always clear! You want your sludge to be removed responsibly, efficiently and for as little cost as possible. With its wide range of sludge dewatering techniques, Indaver helps companies to fulfil these wishes. Sample analysis in our own laboratory By taking a sample of the sludge on site, we can get a clear picture of your process in advance. In the Impex laboratory, your sludge samples undergo a comprehensive testing programme to determine the best formula and dewatering technique. Transparent agreements We are as clear about the financial aspects as we are about the activities we perform for you. Performance contracts guarantee you value for money. Safety for everyone Indaver Impex has a Dutch VCA-petrochemicals (VCA-P) safety certificate. Safety-awareness is ingrained in our people, with concern for each other, for your employees and for your business. 24 / 7 call-out service The last thing you want is for your production to come to a halt or to cause environmental incidents as a result of problems with the treatment of your sludge or wastewater. A wide range of techniques for the best results Indaver Impex has a large fleet of several mechanical sludge dewatering installations. Our mobile technologies are built in transportable units based on the plug&play principle. This means Indaver Impex is both mobile and able to respond at short notice. In addition, we can offer you customized, on-site, permanent sludge dewatering solutions (Build-Own-Operate). A summary of the main technologies used, is provided below. Decanter centrifuges A decanter centrifuge, also known as a decanter, is a horizontal centrifuge. The separation between a solid phase and one or more liquid phases occurs by means of sedimentation. Belt press A belt filter press uses a filtration technique for sludge dewatering. This press consists of two filter belts between which the sludge is put under pressure. Chamber filter press With chamber filter presses, dewatering occurs by pumping the sludge under pressure into an enclosed space (chamber). The gravity tables thicken the sludge into a pumpable fraction. Gravity tables A belt filter or gravity table is a filter belt that moves on rollers on which the sludge to be thickened, is placed. The gravity tables are used to thicken sludge while it can still be pumped. Dredger The dredger has been developed to be compact, which makes it very versatile and easy to manoeuvre for cleaning open tanks, foil lagoons or a carousel system for example. The nozzle and drive system make it possible to dredge and manoeuvre with minimal agitation of sludge. Consequently, you don t have to stop your production process for dredging activities. Cleaning sludge fermentation tanks and aerated lagoons With our separation equipment we remove sediment from (sludge fermentation) tanks and aerated lagoons. By separating the sediment from sand, water and sludge. After further purification or thickening, the sludge fraction can be recycled again, if necessary.
