WORKING WITH ADJUSTMENT LAYERS First, select the photograph thumbnail in the Layers Panel A white bracket surrounds the photograph thumbnail

WORKING WITH ADJUSTMENT LAYERS Select Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Posterize

WORKING WITH ADJUSTMENT LAYERS Select OK Note that the adjustment layer has been added above the photograph layer in the Layers Panel

WORKING WITH ADJUSTMENT LAYERS All the layers are now posterized Posterizing divides the image into 1-256 gray levels

Students will share their work in the form of a gallery walk and formal oral presentation. All aspects of the project will be assessed with a rubric and criteria checklist that will be reviewed with students at the inception of the project.
