INTRODUCTION The Wright W. Frost Collection, 1600-1900, was a gift from Mrs. Wright W. Frost of Nashville, Tennessee. The collection consists of ca. 1100 items and occupies 1.68 cubic feet of shelf space. There are no restrictions on this collection.
SCOPE AND CONTENT The Wright W. Frost Collection, 1600-1900, has no central concentration, but rather focuses on genealogical data, although there are some correspondences included in the collection. The correspondences are mostly genealogical and family in nature. Among the family histories found in the collection are Beardon, Boone, Fairchild, Frost, Hix, Dews, Parker, Holt, Howard, Petty, Reagor, Shook, Humphrey s, Wright, Silvertooth, Davis, Nichols, and Wooldridge.
