David Trumble is an award-winning cartoonist, author and illustrator, who rose to critical acclaim at the age of 21 as the youngest political cartoonist to work at the Sun Newspaper, one of the largest newspapers in the world with a daily readership of eight million. In addition to illustrating and designing for numerous published works, Trumble writes and draws thought-provoking cartoons for the Huffington Post, which have garnered millions of views and been featured through top media outlets across the world. Trumble is currently realizing his long-held desire to write and illustrate books for children, having sold nearly a million books. At the age of 16, Trumble won the Dan Hemingway Prize for Creativity for his 265 page graphic novel, Climate: A Cinematic Novel in Three Parts, which was subsequently published by the Blake Project. His first kid s book series, Mother Goose Retold, a revisionist take on the classic tales, is currently available in stores across the US such as Dollar Tree, 99 Cents Only, and Walmart. David is also the illustrator of the Enjella Adventure Series by author Jane F. Collen. In 2012, Trumble s work moved to the top of Amazon s Movers and Shakers list for his dynamic illustrations in the Simon & Schuster publication, A Random Book about the Power of ANYone by Talia Leman. No one can attest to Trumble s rising star better than the Simon & Schuster Random Kid Team: Trumble delivered a body of art for the Random Book that wowed everyone from literary agency, to publisher, to the public. He is a mega-watt talent, a genius, a consummate professional... Move over Gary Larson. Trumble has designed and created book covers and jackets for companies like isb Global Publishing, Chicago Review Press, Simon & Schuster and ebooks; he has also provided artwork for websites, logos, comics, feature storyboards, branded products, portraits and other commissioned art, including the poster for The Superhero Project, benefiting Worldwide Orphans (WWO). David spoke at TEDxyouth@DesMoines in 2012 and TEDxGoodEnoughCollege in 2014; since then he has been invited to speak and educate in the fields of creativity at various schools in the US and UK, delivering a commencement address at The Cherwell School in Oxford.
