Prior to his career at Eaton Vance, he served as a financial advisor in Portland, Maine. His duties today are to work with Independent and Bank Financial Advisors in WA and OR. Robert Straton ~ Cole Real Estate Investments Robert Straton, Senior Vice President with Cole Real Estate Investments will speak for roughly 30 minutes. The presentation will provide an update on real estate markets, value of real estate in an investment portfolio, Cole strategy, and an overview of future trends. Since 1979, Cole has introduced over 100 investment programs and manages a portfolio of properties valued at approximately $4.0 billion across 45 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Our mission at Cole is to meet our investors' needs for income, capital preservation, and capital gain through real estate investment products. Cole uses a conservative financing in the acquisition of properties and seeks to build portfolios diversified by geography, industry and tenant type. Cole strategy focuses on investing in retail commercial properties with, national or super regional brand tenants, long term leases, double or triple net leases. Will Lana~ Trillium Assets Management Will is a portfolio manager and equity analyst in our California office. Prior to joining Trillium in 2008, Will had worked at the boutique socially responsible investment firm Journey Tree Financial. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business and a B.A. with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles. Will is a 2010 Level III candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst Program. He is a member of Net Impact and serves on the board of directors for Grass Commons, a non-profit developing software to encourage sustainable shopping habits.

Now that we must submit all CFP CEs electronically, all you need to do is go to the CFP website to add the courses you need for your CE requirement to your account. However, people have been entering our chapter's name in different ways and you won't find any classes unless you enter it the way the CFP Board has us listed. Please follow these steps: 1) Go to www.cfp.net 2) Login 3) Select "My CFP Certification" tab 4) Select "View/Reports CE" 5) Select Report CE 6) Go to Sponsor Search - enter FPA 7) Select FPA Mid-Oregon 8) Then select the course. This will post it to the CFP s class summary. 9) Repeat this exercise for other courses taken by this association.
