Historical/Biographical Notes Genealogical and family history notes on the founding families of Lincoln (those resident in Lincoln at the time of incorporation in 1754), and other early families (mostly before 1800) were collected and organized by Edith Biggs Farrar, Librarian of Lincoln Public Library from 1930 to 1957. The collection has been added to by the Lincoln Historical Society. Scope and Content The collection comprises typescripts and manuscripts of historical and genealogical information, compiled from various sources in the 20th century, typescripts of early letters and records, secondary source materials, and other information relating to the earliest families of Lincoln.
