COMMISSION BULLSEYE MANUAL Thank you for your purchase of the Commission Bullseye plugin. We have prepared this training manual to guide you with the installation, configuration and operation of the plugin. Let s get started. Upon purchase, you should have received an email confirmation, which includes the access details to your Wildfire Concepts membership site here https://wildfireconcepts.com/login Once you log in, you will find the link to download the plugin. A helper bot is also available to assist you step by step. I. Installing Commission Bullseye A. Download the plugin to your computer B. Login to your Wordpress admin site and go to Plugins, click on Upload Plugin
C. Find the downloaded Commission Bullseye zip file in your computer and upload the file (do not unzip it). D. Once the file has uploaded and activated, look for your license. E. You ll find your license key in your members area on the Commission Bullseye download page. F. Enter your website URL in the box, get your license and go back to your website, and add the license to activate the plugin. II. Setup IPInfoDB This plugin pulls data from a global databse called IPInfoDB, so you'll need to connect your site to that database. It's free to join and you only need to do this once. NOTE: They've said they'll restrict via IP, but so far... they haven't (in the 5 years I have had an account) so you can use the same API key for all installs until they say otherwise. A. Go to IP Checker B. Put your website address into the box and check the box 'traceroute' and then click 'go'. You'll see something like this: C. Copy the numbers in there as you will need them for the next step.
D. Go to the IPInfoDB registration page (you can click here to go straight there) E. Fill out all of the details on that page (adding the server IP address you copied earlier) F. Check your email for the confirmation link (you may need to check your spam/junk folder) G. Click it and you'll get your API key on that page H. Go back to your website and paste the IPInfoDB API key into the Commission Bullseye Settings III. Setup Amazon Accounts This step is optional, but connecting your account/s here allows you to use the Amazon geo ads campaigns. Note that you can connect multiple Amazon accounts and then display ads based on the visitors geo location, so you can be sure they're seeing the best offers! A. Sign up for an Amazon Account Step 1: Go to https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/ and choose the country you'd like to sign up to. Step 2: Enter your e-mail address and select I am a new customer Step 3: Full out your registration details. Name, e-mail address and password Step 4: Fill our the account information like payee name and address Step 5: Then, fill out the details about your website Step 6: Once you've done that you'll need to verify your account, so add your phone number and verify it :) You'll get a PIN - verify that and you're good to go. Step 7: When you've done that and gotten confirmation that the verification is complete, check the box and click 'finish'
B. Getting your API key Once you have completed signing up for an Amazon s account, you'll be sent to your thank you page. Here you'll see your associate's ID - you can also go and set up your payment method now if you like. We won't go into too much detail there, as we are pretty sure you've got this! Step 8: The next thing I'd like you to do is click on "Get Started Now"
Step 9: You'll get sent to your main affiliate dashboard. Here, look up the top for Product Advertising API and click it - and you'll see a page that looks like this: Step 10: Click on the button you'll see there that says "Sign Up Now". As required by Amazon, you'll need to add your details here again. To make it easy for you, we suggest to use the same details you used in the earlier step.
Step 11: You'll see the page above, then click on "Manage Your Account" Step 12: Next up, you'll need to go to your AWS Security Credentials Console. You can do that by either clicking on the link you'll see below - or... save a sec and just click this link here: https://console.aws.amazon.com/ Here's what that link looks like. Step 13: Sign in again with the info you set up earlier
In the dropdown, at the top where you'll see your name, click on 'Security Credentials' Step 14: Confirm the safety check and click Continue to Security Credentials Step 15: Here you can click "Create New Access Key" And now you can grab your details! Step 16: Click Create New Access Key and those details are what you'll need to add into your website.
Step 17: Go back to your Commission Bullseye Settings page at your website and put the settings into the page. Save the details and you're done! As mentioned earlier, you can add multiple Amazon accounts for different countries. You'll need to go through this process again for each country - and then in your Commission Bullseye settings click on 'Add New Amazon Account' and add your new details.
C. Create An Amazon Campaign You can connect as many different country accounts as you like, but let's get you started with the first one here. Step 1: Go to https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/ and choose the country you'd like to sign up to. It looks like this. Step 2: Enter your e-mail address and select I am a new customer Step 3: Full out your registration details. Name, e-mail address and password Step 4: Fill our the account information like payee name and address Step 5: Then, fill out the details about your website Step 6: Once you've done that you'll need to verify your account, so add your phone number and verify it :) You'll get a PIN - verify that and you're good to go. Step 7: When you've done that and gotten confirmation that the verification is complete, check the box and click 'finish'
IV. Create A Campaign Commission Bullseye offers a lot of different options for campaigns. A. General Campaign Overview Campaigns are groups of different content that will show, depending on the visitor location. You can choose a campaign's content to display differently on your blog based on the display settings. Things like popups, attention header bars or in-line content can all be controlled from the design settings here. Campaigns can also be displayed using shortcodes (you'll find those in your campaigns area too) - they look like this: When you post this into your posts, widgets etc - it will display whatever content you've got set up - to whatever audience you've planned to see it!
B. Create An Image Campaign Step 1: Name Your Campaign Step 2: Choose where (which country) you'd like to display your first image Step 3: Click on 'Images' as the campaign type Step 4: Upload your image and add what URL you want your visitor to be sent to when they click on the image/banner Step 5: Click Confirm Step 6: To create alternative images, click 'Create Ad Variation' and go through Step 2-5 for each country you'd like to show alternative banners to Step 7: When you've added as many as you'd like, you can select display options. In the campaign page, click on 'Display Options' and set up your selections. C. Create A Content Campaign Content campaigns can be used for a variety of uses. From a single word or phrase - to putting in optin forms or videos, etc. Here's how you set up your content campaign Step 1: Name Your Campaign Step 2: Choose where (which country) you'd like to display your first variation of content Step 3: Click on 'Content' as the campaign type Step 4: Place your content in the content editor box Step 5: Click Confirm Step 6: To create alternative content variations, click 'Create Ad Variation' and go through Step 2-5 for each country you'd like to show alternative content to Step 7: When you've added as many as you'd like, you can select display options. In the campaign page, click on 'Display Options' and set up your selections. D. Create An Amazon Campaign Amazon campaigns will automatically pull in relevant content based on your added keywords (and from your relevant Amazon account). Step 1: Name Your Campaign Step 2: Choose where (which country) you'd like to display your first Amazon content Step 3: Click on 'Amazon' as the campaign type Step 4: Choose your Amazon keyword. We'll use that for searches (they can be different for every variation too!)
Step 5: Select your Amazon region. Step 6: To connect alternative Amazon accounts and regions (once connected via settings), click 'Create Ad Variation' and go through Step 2-5 for each country you'd like to set up Amazon ads Step 7: When you've added as many as you'd like, you can select display options. In the campaign page, click on 'Display Options' and set up your selections.
