( MTN Group, formerly M-Cell is a South Africa-based multinational mobile telecommunication company, operating in many African, European and Asian countries ).My duties and responsibilities include the following: o Designing and planning of the transmission network across multiple transport platforms including Fiber optics, Microwave, VSAT, IP and Ethernet to fulfill business requirements. o Assist in microwave, fiber optics and VSAT site survey and validate the outputs. o Provide transmission network planning such as link design, microwave frequency planning, synchronization plan, technology and equipment assessment and selection. o Calculate microwave, fiber optics and VSAT link budget and ensure transmission quality standards. o Design transmission routes and upgrade microwave, fiber optics VSAT link capacity. o Monitor and evaluate transmission links performance and utilization and capacity upgrade. o Calculate and design GSM, WCDMA and LTE nodes transmission needs and optimize the network. o Leased line managing and control. o Transport and access network elements dimension based on requirements, business forecasts and operational trends includes theoretical studies, case studies for transmission network and perform urgent plans to meet the changes in network design. o Performing retuning & reconfiguration of microwave radio frequencies.

It has been recognized as a top university and a high-ranked academic university in Sudan ) My duties and responsibilities included the following: o Nano-satellite Communication Subsystem specialist and team leader. o Manage the team activities and provide the relevant reports. o Plan the technical activities and oversea the implementation as required. o Conduct research in the area of space and satellites. o Design, implement and test major subsystems of the Nano-satellite. o Integrate communication components with other subsystems. o Assign and plan the Nano-Satellite transmitter and receiver frequencies following the Nano-Satellite standards. o Setup and operate all devices related to Nano-Satellite communication subsystem in the Lab such as spectrum analyzer, frequency generator, frequency counter. Etc. o Conduct validation and verification tests against agreed requirements. o Preparation of training materials and the provision of training sessions at different levels.
