DELEGATIONS / FIRST OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC TO ADDRESS COUNCIL Lorne Given, CERV Coordinator and Committee Chair o Congratulated the new council o Mr. Given provided an overview of what CERV is and how they represent and assist the Town o Mr. Given noted that the Town Staff and Council have always responded well in a crisis situation and have developed a great working relationship o During 2014 CERV attended or participated in response: February major snow storm, assisted Wyoming PNEFD Boot Drive, door to door fundraiser for New Training Centre LCCVI Fun Run Emergency Preparedness day in Sarnia, up to 5000 people attend this event Big Bike for Heart and Stroke High School and Elementary School Track Meets Rib Fest Page 2 of 8

Mr. Given: CERV provides 1 st Aid and CPR care. Councillor Field: Thank you to Lorne and his team, a very dedicated group. Could this be something staff looking further into regarding the age friendly grant? Mayor McCharles noted that staff has been looking into this and at the moment, the criteria has areas we can meet, but many areas we can not.
