Training at Schütte Double benefits: for you and for us

02 Schütte TRAINING Training courses for multi-spindle automatics A prerequisite for trouble-free and thus economic operation of multi-spindle automatics is, apart from highest possible technical level of the machine, a highly trained team of employees. This training applies to the areas operation, setting and maintenance. We therefore offer an extensive, continuously developing training programme that meets the requirements of a constantly expanding range of activities. Apart from the description of the function of the multi-spindle automatic, specific facts on the different series and their ranges of application are also covered. Besides the training courses for operation of the machine during initial operation, in our training centre we also offer courses on setting, programming and maintenance. The courses generally take place in our training centre. They are clearly structured and backed up with comprehensive documentation. All standard training courses can be modified as desired by the customer and offered as individual training, whereby such training courses should have a minimum of 3 participants. We will co-ordinate the subjects, duration and point in time of the individual training courses with our customers. The dates of standard training courses will be defined as required. Special courses on multi-spindle automatic round off the offer. Language The courses are usually held in German, although English is also possible upon request. Other languages with the support of an interpreter are also possible for an additional charge.

04 Schütte TRAINING

Schütte TRAINING 05 G Series fast and compact The smallest Schütte multi-spindle automatic lathes are the highly productive, cam-controlled Series G models that achieve unrivalled speeds and offer bar throat sizes up to 20 mm. The G-Series machines have six or eight main spindles and are often also operated as double three-spindle or double four-spindle lathes. Simple workpieces produced by clients' machines are turned out at well under a second per unit. With regard to their machining capabilities, however, these models go far beyond the traditional cam-controlled machine. With additional functions such as CNC compound slide, CNC opposed spindle, electric motor-driven cross slide adjustment and spindle stop, complex and high-precision turned parts can also be produced. Tried and tested fast and reliable drive technology via cams, classical basic structure based on Schütte design Compact smallest design combined with high rigidity thanks to stable frame construction Flexible independent optimisation of spindle speed and feed movements with two AC motors with stepless control Complex contour turning with options such as CNC compound slide, CNC pick-up spindle and independent tool drives G SERIES THE CAM-CONTROLLED MACHINES WITH CNC OPTIONS

010 Schütte TRAINING

Schütte TRAINING 011 PC series fast and powerful Automatics in the PC series are machining centres and are used whenever classic cam-controlled automatics reach their limits. Their range of functions goes far beyond that of turning. Tapping, mill cutting, polygon turning and eccentric drilling operations make complete machining of geometrically complex workpieces possible. Six or eight work spindles, longitudinal and cross slides that can be controlled independently of one another as well as rear-side machining with up to three tools is state of the art. The Schütte programming system SICS can be used for simple control of more than 56 axes. PC multi-spindle automatics are designed for material removal of geometrically sophisticated parts made of hard solid materials. Wide gashes and complex drilling operations are part of your daily production operations. The machines are designed to be robust, durable and technically flexible. Robust basic structure thanks to tried-and-tested frame construction Depending on the version, six or (upon request) eight workpiece spindles that can be controlled independently of one another Each workpiece spindle has its own longitudinal and cross slide feed units with direct measuring system Rear-side machining with up to three tools Short setup, non-production and part-production times Over 56 CNC axes can be programmed easily PC series Versatile, precise and economic

Schütte TRAINING 019 SCX series Freedom redefined With its SCX series, Schütte realised the vision of a multi-spindle machine for the first time: the diversity of the machining options of a multi-spindle machine combined with the simple setup and operation of a single-spindle machine. The SCX offers different versions for workpieces of varying complexity. Six main spindles and an opposed spindle for workpieces that can be manufactured almost completely from the first workpiece side. Plus the 9-spindle machine for workpieces that also have to be extensively machined on the second workpiece side economic and complete. Different expansion stages depending on the complexity of your workpieces Variable exchange of the machining heads across the entire range of machines and versions easy, simple and safe tooling, setup and operation Transferability of programs Version change without additional training requirements Precision and convenience thanks to quick-change interface for equipment and tool heads The SCX is designed for flexible use and is extremely economic
