This will help avoid any unneccesary breakage. Any breakage due to handling or installing this enclosure system is the responsibility of the installer and is not covered under the Mincey Warranty. Mincey recommends that two people are used to install this shower enclosure system due to the weight and fragility of the glass panels. Mincey also recommends that you protect the glass, especially the bottoms, and the shower pan during installation. These installation instructions apply to the Mincey Napoli traight Barn Door hower Enclosure ystem. In these instructions we are going to use an example with a 58 wide shower, with the opening door located on the right side of the shower and the xed glass panel on the left. All Drawings Are Not To cale. Uncrate all of the materials and con rm that all of the parts and pieces are present. The Required Tools are listed below. The contents of the Hardware Kit are listed below. The Parts Diagram is on the following page. Before you begin the installation, make sure that all of the pertinent surfaces are clean and free of dust, debris and any shavings. After you perform any drilling, you will want to make sure the surfaces are clean again - this includes the hower Pan and the hower Panel Walls. NAPOLI TRAIGHT BARN DOOR ENCLOURE YTEM INTALLATION 3 These instructions are to be followed assuming the hower Pan is level and the Walls are plumb. In these instructions and as an example, we will be installing the Napoli traight Barn Door hower Enclosure in a 58 wide shower. After you have con rmed that all of the remaining parts and pieces are present, you are ready to begin by preparing to install the LEFT VERTICAL U CHANNEL. Begin by making marks on the top of the hower Pan Curb 3/8 from the front of the Curb. Place marks at the Left Panel Wall, in the Center of the Pan and one in-between those two marks. Hold LEFT VERTICAL U CHANNEL up against the Left Wall Panel, plumb with the Level and mark where the three holes are to be drilled in the Top, Center and Bottom locations. 3/8 FROM EDGE OF MEAURE AND MARK IN ALL THREE CURB LOCATION CREW HOLE HAMMER IN ALL THREE ANCHOR 3/16 GREEN WALL ANCHOR CREW IN U CHANNEL 1 1/8 FLAT HEAD CREW PLUMB LEFT VERTICAL U CHANNEL WITH LEVEL, MARK HOLE LOCATION AND REMOVE REMOVE U CHANNEL, DRILL HOLE WITH 5/16 MAONRY BIT, HAMMER IN WALL ANCHOR CLEAN DEBRI AND HAVING, PLACE U CHANNEL AND CREW INTO PLACE Next, run a bead of 100% ilicone the length of the bottom of the BOTTOM U CHANNEL. Carefully place the BOTTOM U CHANNEL onto the hower Pan Curb on the edge of the marks at 3/8 from the front of the hower pan. The BOTTOM U CHANNEL should be ush against the VERTICAL U CHANNEL aligning their centers so that the Fixed Glass Panel will slide into place into both channels. Then, you will place TWO CLEAR ETTING BLOCK near the ends of the BOTTOM U CHANNEL for the Fixed Glass Panel to rest on. These CLEAR ETTING BLOCK can be cut and doubled-up if necessary for leveling. VERTICAL U CHANNEL AND BOTTOM U CHANNEL RUN A BEAD OF 100% ILICONE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BOTTOM U CHANNEL AND CAREFULLY PLACE ON THE 3/8 MARK ON THE CURB MAKE URE BOTTOM U CHANNEL PLACE ETTING I FLUH WITH THE VERTICAL U BLOCK INTO CHANNEL AND THE CHANNEL ARE BOTTOM U CHANNEL ALIGNED TO ACCEPT THE FIXED TO LEVEL FIXED
NAPOLI TRAIGHT BARN DOOR ENCLOURE YTEM INTALLATION (cont.) 4 Now you are ready to install the FIXED. You will begin by test- tting the FIXED. Place the panel into the the Vertical and Bottom U Channels making sure the panel is ush to the wall. The hole closest to the edge of the FIXED is to be located furthest from the Wall. Check for level. Add CLEAR ETTING BLOCK into the Bottom U Channel at either end to Level the FIXED GLA EL. You can trim and stack the CLEAR ETTING BLOCK if necessary to Level the panel. Once Level, remove the FIXED leaving the CLEAR ETTING BLOCK in place. MAKE URE FLUH TO WALL LEVEL FIXED WITH CLEAR ETTING BLOCK, THEY CAN BE DOUBLED IF NECEARY FILL WITH 100% ILICONE AFTER LEVELING THE FIXED AND REMOVING IT, FILL THE CORNER AREA WHERE THE BOTTOM U CHANNEL AND THE VERTICAL U CHANNEL MEET WITH 100% ILICONE. THEN, CAREFULLY REPLACE THE FIXED BACK INTO THE U CHANNEL MAKING URE IT I FLUH WITH THE WALL. WIPE AWAY ANY EXCE ILICONE AND PROCEED. Next, you will prepare to install the WATER GUARD and its. Begin by inserting the Fixed Glass Panel pacer into the Left WATER GUARD and sliding it under the slight edge of the Glass Panel now protruding from the Bottom U Channel. Next, insert the olid pacer into the Right WATER GUARD and place it ush with the Right Wall. FIXED GLA EL PACER LEFT RIGHT OLID PACER LIDE ONTO FIXED, MARK HOLE LOCATION HOWER CURB FRONT EDGE FOR WATER GUARD LENGTH, MEAURE BETWEEN, ADD 1 FOR RECE AREA TRIM WATER GUARD FROM EITHER END PLACE UP AGAINT THE WALL EL, FLUH WITH FRONT EDGE OF HOWER CURB, MARK HOLE LOCATION After trimming the Water Guard, drill the two holes for the Water Guard End Caps into the hower Pan Curb with a 3/16 Masonry Bit and clean up any debris or shavings. Fill the two holes with 100% ilicone. Hammer in two, Green, 3/16 Plastic Anchors, clean excess silicone. nap the WATER GUARD into both End Caps with the Rounded Edge upward. Run a bead of 100% ilicone the length of the WATER GUARD and apply onto the bottoms of the End Caps. Place whole assembly back into place onto the hower Pan Curb and crew into place using two 1 1/4 x 1/8 Pan Head crews. Install End Cap crew Covers by snapping them into place.
NAPOLI TRAIGHT BARN DOOR ENCLOURE YTEM INTALLATION (cont.) 5 You are now ready to install the GUIDE RAIL. First, measure 72 up from the hower Pan and measure the distance between the Wall Panels. In this example, the measurement will be 58. The Napoli hower Enclosure GUIDE RAIL measures 60 when fully assembled with the End Caps installed. Therefore in this example, 2 will need to be trimmed o of the GUIDE RAIL. Trim 2 o the GUIDE RAIL from the end where the hower Door will be located, not the end to be installed to the Wall on the Fixed Glass Panel side. (Trim the end where the Fixed Glass Panel Holders are not located.) Then, disassemble the. FULLY AEMBLED, THE GUIDE RAIL MEAURE 60 IN THI EXAMPLE THE HOWER MEAURE 58 DIAEMBLE THE GUIDE RAIL UING THE 5/32 ALLEN WRENCH TRIM 2 OFF THE END WHERE THE HOWER DOOR WILL BE, WHEN FULLY RE-AEMBLED, THE GUIDE RAIL WILL MEAURE 58 Next, disassemble the GUIDE RAIL by carefully removing the Fixed Glass Panel Holders using the Fixed Glass Panel Holders Tool. Use thumb pressure to carefully remove the Holders without scratching them by allowing the tool to slip out of the designated holes. DIAEMBLE THE GUIDE RAIL HOLDER LOOEN LIGHTLY TO ADJUT UE FIRM THUMB PREURE TO PREVENT LIPPAGE AND CRATCHING THE CAP WHEN LOOENING OR TIGHTENING THE CAP UE TOOL TO CAREFULLY UNCREW CAP UE 1/4 ALLEN WRENCH TO TIGHTEN WHEN LEVEL Disassemble the two GUIDE RAIL and slide the Outside leeves onto the GUIDE RAIL without the Inner Mounting Cogs. Install the GUIDE RAIL onto the Fixed Glass Panel. LEVEL the GUIDE RAIL and snug the GUIDE RAIL HOLDER. Push the GUIDE RAIL to the Wall Panels and Mark the ends by outlining the onto the Wall Panels. Make sure the on the FIXED side has the FLAT IDE facing the Glass Panel. The hower Door side should have the FLAT IDE facing into the hower, towards where the hower Door will be installed. NAPOLI TRAIGHT BARN DOOR ENCLOURE YTEM INTALLATION (cont.) 6 After you have marked where the Guide Rail End Caps are located on the Wall Panels. Re-assemble the End Caps with the recessed side of the End Cap Cog to the inside, and the at side to the Wall Panel. Hold End Caps back in place on the wall and Mark the inside holes, where you will drill. Drill End Cap mounting holes into Wall Panels using 5/16 Masonry Bit, Hammer in Clear 5/16 Wall Anchors and Install End Cap Cogs. RE-AEMBLE MARK HOLE, REMOVE END CAP WALL EL INTALL COG WITH 2 x 3/16 HEAD CREW FLAT END GOE TOWARD WALL DRILL HOLE UING 5/16 MAONRY BIT, HAMMER IN CLEAR 5/16 WALL ANCHOR RECEED END GOE TOWARD GUIDE RAIL With the Guide Rail End Cap Cogs installed to the Wall Panels, you can now assemble the ROLLER onto the GLA DOOR. Disassemble the ROLLER using the 3/16 Allen Wrench. Install the Top Two ROLLER into the top two factory holes in the GLA DOOR with the ROLLER on the Outside of the GLA DOOR and with the Door Handle to the Right. Be sure to use LOCTITE Blue 243 threadlocker when installing the ROLLER onto the GLA DOOR. FELT WAHER TOOTH WAHER AEMBLE TO GLA EL UING LOCTITE BLUE 243 ON CREW FRONT OF HOWER DIAEMBLE ROLLER UING 3/16 ALLEN WRENCH CAM LOBE BACK OF HOWER INTALL THE ROLLER IN THE GLA DOWN POITION / CAM DOWN POITION CAM LOBE DOWN = GLA DOWN NOTE: LOCTITE BLUE 243 is required as a threadlocker to secure the installation of the Roller crews. LOCTITE is NOT provided with the doors, but is readily available at many hardware stores, online at mscdirect.com or through Mincey Marble at 1-800-533-1806. ONCE THE DOOR I INTALLED ADJUT CAM LOBE WITH A 1/8 ALLEN WRENCH FOR FLUH, LEVEL OPERATION PLACE THE GLA DOOR IN THE HOWER BEFORE RE-INTALLING THE GUIDE RAIL, BE URE TO PROTECT THE HOWER AND BOTTOM OF THE GLA DOOR CAM LOBE UP = GLA UP

Also slide the Guide Rail End Cap leeves back onto the Guide Rail. Re-install the Guide Rail with the Fixed Glass Panel Holders. lide the Guide Rail End Caps back to the Wall Panels and tighten everything making sure the Guide Rail remains Level. LIDE DOOR TOP ONTO GUIDE RAIL, TIGHTEN LIGHTLY TO HOLD IN PLACE LIDE TO WALL AND TIGHTEN, MAKE URE TO REMAIN LEVEL Next, you are ready to install the DOOR GUIDE. Con rm the DOOR GUIDE is set in the 10 Position by looking at the bottom. Place the DOOR GUIDE at 1 1/2 from the Inside edge of the Fixed Glass Panel to the Outside DOOR GUIDE channel, align the Left ide crew Hole and the Bottom Rail crew Hole and Mark the outline around the DOOR GUIDE. Remove the DOOR GUIDE. Place the DOOR GUIDE and Mark the holes to be drilled on the hower Pan Curb. Drill holes using a 5/16 Masonry Bit, Fill holes with 100% ilicone, Hammer in Plastic Anchors, Clean any excess silicone, Install DOOR GUIDE with 1 1/8 x 3/16 Flat Head crews. Now, hang the Glass Door aligning it into Door Guide. LINE UP CREW HOLE MARK OUTLINE OF DOOR GUIDE CAM LOBE DOWN = GLA DOWN OUTIDE DOOR GLA TO INIDE FIXED MEAURE 1 1/2 ONCE THE DOOR I INTALLED ADJUT CAM LOBE WITH A 1/8 ALLEN WRENCH FOR FLUH, LEVEL OPERATION CAM LOBE UP = GLA UP Next, install the TWO BOTTOM ROLLER. Follow the same instructions as the Top Rollers, including using LOCTITE BLUE 243 threadlocker on the crews. Adjust the BOTTOM ROLLER so that they roll and function as the hower Door is opened and closed. Install DOOR F EAL using Rubber Mallet to tap into place. The HORT F EAL installs on the Fixed Glass Panel with the FIN towards the hower Door. The LONG F EAL installs on the hower Door edge inside the hower with the FIN towards the Fixed Glass Panel. The BUBBLE EAL installs on the hower Door edge towards the Wall Panel with the FIN towards the inside of the shower. Then, install the handles. INTALL BOTTOM ROLLER UE LOCTITE BLUE 243 ALL ROLLER HOULD ROLL IN CONTACT WITH THE GUIDE RAIL AEMBLE HANDLE UING ET CREW, ET CREW INTALL TO THE INIDE OF THE HOWER LONG F EAL INTALL ON HOWER DOOR EDGE HORT F EAL INTALL ON FIXED EDGE ADJUT DOOR TOP BUBBLE EAL INTALL ON EDGE OF HOWER DOOR G LA G LA Lastly, use 100% ilicone to run a bead, both inside and outside the shower, where the Vertical U Channel meets the Wall Panels, where the Bottom U Channel meets the hower Pan and where the Water Guard meets the hower Pan.
