Most people these days simply get a domain name through their hosting provider, it just makes life a lot simpler! It is imperative when you register your own domain name that you use a keyword that describes what your site is about. If you require keyword ideas simply head on over to Keyword planner. This is a free tool for you to do keyword research with. All you have to do is sign up for a Google account which is free. After you ve signed up for Google keyword planner, you ll end up on a page that looks like this. Simply type in the keyword ideas you have. So for example if you have a site that revolves around widgets you simply type in widgets and you ll receive a list of 5
keyword results relating to your query. One thing you should be aware of is the average search volumes (how many people are using that particular word or phrase) and the competition which is displayed in the results. A good rule of thumb here is to pick a keyword or keywords that have a high monthly search volume and low competition! And the reason?
