Make sure you have enough space to layout the parts before starting. We do not recommend the use of power drill/drivers for inserting screws, as this could damage the unit. Only use hand screwdrivers. ssembly Instructions Step 1 If you have damaged or missing components, call the ustomer elpline: 0856 00800 quoting the reference numbers below Prepare the left side Tap 2 wooden dowels into the left side 1. 10mm Note: Wooden dowels must not stick out from the edge by more than 10mm or they may damage other panels. Screw metal dowels into the left side 1. Note: Tighten metal dowels up fully against the panels. Finished front edge 1 Insert 2 large locking nuts into the left side. 1. Note: The arrow on the locking nut must point towards the hole in the edge of the panel. Fit 3 hinge plates onto the left side 1, making sure that the slot is facing towards the front edge. Step 2 Prepare the right side Tap 2 wooden dowels into the right side 2. Screw metal dowels into the right side 2. Insert 2 large locking nuts into the right side 2. 2 Finished front edge Fit 3 hinge plates onto the right side 2, making sure that the slot is facing towards the front edge.
ssembly Instructions Step 3 Prepare the 2 horizontals Tap wooden dowels into each of the 2 horizontals. Insert large locking nuts into each of the 2 horizontals. x 2 Finished front edge Step Join the right side and horizontals 2 Push the 2 horizontals onto the right side 2. Use a screwdriver to tighten the 2 large locking nuts fitted to each of the 2 horizontals.. Finished front edge Note: Turn the large locking nuts as far as they will go - more than 1/2 a turn. Step 6 Prepare the top I L Screw metal dowels into the top 3. Fix the bracket L in the middle of the top 3, flush to the edge, using screw I. 3 L 6
ssembly Instructions Step 7 Fit the top Push the top 3 the assembly. onto 2 3 Use a screwdriver to tighten the large locking nuts fitted to the left side 1 and right side 2. 1 Step 8 Fit the back a: The measurement from top corner X to bottom corner X must be equal to the measurement from top corner Y to bottom corner Y a: Square up the unit by making sure that measurement x to x equals y to y. b: x b: Place the back onto the unit. 7 Nail D around the outside edges of the back 7. Note: Nails should be spaced out evenly. y D 7 y Stand the unit up for the next step. Warning: The unit is heavy. Lift with care. x 7
WLLssembly Instructions Step 9 Secure unit to a wall To prevent possible overbalancing we recommend that this unit is secured to a suitable wall by use of the metal bracket K fitted underneath the top 3. Fixings are not supplied as they will need to suit the wall type, and the length of screw will depend on the distance of the back of the unit to the wall. Warning: Take care when drilling the wall that you do not drill into any pipes, wires etc. If in doubt, consult an expert. 3 Top of unit K Step 10 Fit the shelf studs For each of the 2 shelves 5, insert shelf studs F at the required height. ssembly Instructions Step 11 Fit the shelves Lower the 2 shelves down onto the shelf studs F. 5 5 5 Step 12 Prepare the 2 doors Push fit 3 hinges into each of the doors 6. x 2 Secure each hinge with 2 screws. 6 Note: efore securing with the screws, make sure that the hinges are positioned at 90 degrees with the edge of the door. 90 9
ssembly Instructions Step 13 Fit doors and handles a: b: Note: The easiest way to attach each door 6 is to fit the top hinge first, then align and fit the other hinges. a: Push the hinge onto the front part of the hinge plate. The recess at the bottom of screw goes into the slot in the hinge plate. c: d: b: Keep the hinge FLT against the hinge plate as you slide it across as far as it will go. Tighten screw. c: The hinge must be flat against the hinge plate prior to any adjustment. e: d: The hinge must NOT be T N NL to the hinge plate when assembled. This would indicate that the recess at the bottom of screw had not located in the slot in the hinge plate and the hinge would not be secure. Remove the hinge from the hinge plate and then re-assemble being careful to follow instructions a-c. 6 J K K 6 J e: ttach a handle J to each door 6 using 2 screws K. 10
ssembly Instructions Step 1 djust the doors if needed a: efore adjusting the doors, use a spirit level to check the base (or top) of the unit is level, front-to-back and side-to-side in the 3 positions shown. Use suitable packing pieces (not supplied) to make the unit level FOR making any adjustment to the hinges, as shown. a: b: b: eight adjustment. Loosen screws on hinge plates and move door up or down as required. Retighten screw. c: Forward and ack adjustment. Loosen screw on hinge plate and move door in or out as required. Retighten screw. c: d: d: Sideways adjustment. To move door out loosen screw.
