Business Unit Forming System solutions for manufacturing forming products Kurt Benz, Manager of the Forming division Manufacturers of forming products have to deliver large quantities in high quality, and at economical prices. Our production systems meet these requirements. The product range includes systems for forming products made from plastic, metal and isotropic material. Plastic: We supply machines for manufacturing automotive components made from fiber-reinforced thermosetting and thermoplastic materials such as SMC, D-SMC, LFT-D and GMT. Our complete solutions include the press, automation, reworking of formed parts, extruders and tool exchange. Metal: We develop and produce complete press lines for sheet metalforming in all areas of industry. The product range includes automation systems and tooling technology. Isotropic material: offers cold and hot-isostatic presses and press lines, including the associated technology. These are used for manufacturing isotropic high-tech components that can handle extreme loadings in engine and medical technology as well as in aviation and space technology.

Wood based panel division Machines for manufacturing wood panels integrates intelligent solutions into its machines to enable significant reductions to be achieved in emissions and raw material consumption. It goes without saying that these technologies for sustainable wealth creation are all an integrated part of the quality features of our equipment. Here are three examples: our new Swiss-Combi concept significantly reduces polluting emissions from the dryers of wood panel lines. We offer solutions for MDF lines to reduce glue consumption.
