We facilitate the design, fabrication, service and maintenance of our customers assets, providing comprehensive project management across all phases of energy projects. Protecting people, assets and the environment Health and safety At Semco Maritime, our work often involves working in extreme environments, both on and offshore. We handle heavy machinery, explosive materials and high-voltage equipment on a daily basis. So, from design to execution, we make safety the key factor of every project. To protect the health and safety of our people, your assets and the communities you operate in, we insist on adhering to globally approved standards in health and safety. Our staff receive regular training in the latest health and safety tools and procedures, and we publish our health and safety performance in annual reports. Environmental responsibility We are committed to helping our customers minimise the environmental impact of their projects and operations. Each year, we publish an environmental impact report, which we submit to local authorities for approval. Quality assurance We use the latest quality management tools to ensure that all our processes and projects meet the highest international standards. Oil and gas We bring more than 30 years of experience to the oil and gas industry, supplying engineering and project management solutions. Yard and fabrication capacity From our base in Esbjerg, we operate two quays with a load out capacity up to 5.000 tonnes. Here we refurbish, repair and provide newbuilding services for modules, rigs, platforms and FPSOs. Our engineers and production crew specialise in the construction of topside modules, steel constructions, piping, subsea piping and skids. And if necessary, our engineers and production crew can travel to service your equipment, anywhere in the world. 8

Rig projects Rigs one stop upgrades, servicing and refurbs We upgrade and refurbish rigs, so they re ready for action anywhere in the world. From accommodation modules to cranes and complete shale shaker modules, we prefabricate the key elements at our yard, before your rig arrives. With a shorter yardstay, your upgraded rig is back in operation fast and your revenue losses are kept to a minimum. Skilled workforce - dedicated facilities Rigs must withstand harsh environments for years on end, so from structural elements to individual components, high quality is essential. But when your rig needs a refurb, refit or upgrade, you need this quality delivered fast to minimise your downtime. We are able to pull in highly qualified and experienced engineers, technicians and skilled workmen who can work round-the-clock to make sure your rig is back in operation fast and in better shape than ever. Windpower Experiencing rapid growth and constant innovation, the renewable energy industry is an exciting place to work. Our engineers and designers focus on the functionality of each element and its integration into the overall design. And, with projects such as the world s first offshore accommodation module for the Horns Rev II project in the North Sea, our work continues to break new ground. Meeting electrical infrastructure needs We design and engineer the electrical infrastructure systems of the wind farm, including construction of the land-based and offshore substations. Operation and maintenance excellence We are one of the leading operation and maintenance suppliers to wind farms in Denmark, the UK and Germany. Our safety and quality-conscious staff operate and/or maintain substation modules (including all onboard systems), fully equipped accommodation modules, wind turbine foundations and land-based substations. We can also offer our SemCheck system which will give you a paperless a real-time status of all inspections and maintenance routines that report any non-conformity. Complete engineering, fabrication and service solutions From initial studies to detailed design and specifications, our engineers and installation crews deliver accommodation modules, seafastening and installation equipment. Our teams have also been involved in projects to upgrade installation vessels, install wind farms, and test equipment for wind turbine manufacturers. SemTETRA Semco Maritime has developed an air to air TETRA radio repeater solution based on an active repeater installed in the wind turbine tower and a special antenna system. The system ensures inside coverage in the windturbine towers providing you with clear communication. 12

Great support for your operations Semco Maritime s operation support division supports your operations with well-qualified, experienced staff. Our manpower pool covers a wide range of disciplines from engineers, specialist technicians and construction workers, to nurses, welders and helideck operators. We can assemble and mobilise teams to staff your rig, onshore installations or offshore yard. Safety first All our people have first-hand experience of working in the offshore oil and gas industry. Our people attend comprehensive safety courses and receive on-going training in their fields to maintain their safety awareness and skill. Rope Access We provide rope access services and we can help your business with solutions in high or inaccessible places. We are full member of IRATA, both operational and training wise, and SPRAT. Transmission lines and substations We offer full-scope contracting and independent consultancy on transmission lines and substations at all voltage levels to both the private and public sector. Turbine and reciprocating engines From design to construction, we have completed over 50 cogeneration plants and a number of industrial process energy plants worldwide. Our story It all started in 1888, when Semler & Mathiassen, a castings and stove manufacturer opened for business. The company expanded rapidly, and ventured into new areas. But it wasn t until 1945 that we began producing high-quality technical installations for the marine and shipbuilding industry. We established our first offshore business unit in Esbjerg in 1980, to provide project engineering, maintenance and manpower services for the North Sea s offshore operations. As the company evolved, so did the structure and in 1998, Semco Maritime was established. Organic growth and acquisitions in Denmark, Norway and the UK have given Semco Maritime the capacity to handle even the largest upgrade projects. We now have sales and marketing offices in Dubai, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia the US and Central America. And, with advanced fabrication facilities in Denmark and Vietnam, we are setting new standards in the global energy market.
