Calculate the required bandwidth and draw the configuration using Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM). Anggapkan saluran suara menggunakan lebarjalur 4 khz dari julat frekuensi 10-34 khz. Terangkan kegunaan Data Communications Equipment (DCE). b) Encode the following text Malaysia2016 by using ASCII Code Table. Kodkan teks Malaysia2016 dengan menggunakan Jadual Kod ASCII. c) At the input receiver of a standard 4 khz telephone channel, the noise power is 50 µw and the signal power is 20 mw. Calculate the Shannon limit for information capacity. Pada penerima satu saluran 4 khz telefon yang standard, kuasa hingar adalah 50 μw dan kuasa isyarat adalah 20 mw. Jawab SEMUA soalan. QUESTION 1 SOALAN 1 Interpret the Nyquist s Sampling Theorem. Calculate the sampling frequency of a 3.4 khz audio signal if it is sampled at a rate of 20% higher than the minimum Nyquist s Sampling Rate. If the signal is 8.4 Vpp (peak to peak value) and to be coded into 8bits, determine the number of quantization levels and required resolution. Hence calculate the transmission rate. Terjemahkan maksud Teorem Pensampelan Nyquist. Kirakan frekuensi pensampelan bagi 3.4 khz isyarat audio sekiranya ia tersampel pada kadar 20% lebih tinggi daripada kadar pensampelan minimum Nyquist. Jika isyarat adalah 8.4 Vpp (nilai puncak ke puncak) dan dikodkan pada 8 bit, tentukan jumlah aras pengkuantuman dan resolusi yang diperlukan. Dengan itu kirakan kadar penghantaran. Sketch the input and output signal of Time Division Multiplexing (TDM), Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM) and Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM).
