ENGLISH Objectives- To enhance reading ability. To improve vocabulary To improve upon letter formation strokes. One is never alone when one is with books. Sitting in your room with your book you could go off to far off places, meet all kinds of people, animals, birds and even fairies. What fun! Reading will teach you many new words. You will write better and speak well. Read books to discover lots of new things!! 1. Read and enjoy the following stories : Little Red Hen Hansel and Gretel Rapunzel Hare and the Tortoise Cinderella Sleeping Beauty Thumbelina The Frog Prince The Talkative Tortoise The Monkey and the Cap seller Jack and the Beanstalk The Three Little Pigs Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Make a Vocabulary Hanging from the stories you have read. Make a small hand puppet of your favourite character from any storybook which you have read and Also prepare a short dialogue which you will speak in the class using your hand puppet. Write it on a coloured A 4 pastel sheet. Do a page of cursive handwriting daily. B) Daddy s Day Out: Father's Day is observed on the third Sunday of June. It honours all fathers, grandfathers and father figures for their contribution. So on this Father s Day----- Pamper your dad Make him feel special in every small way Surprise him by giving him a card and a gift Decide his dress for the day, taking special care to choose his favourite colour Prepare a mouth-watering recipe which might become his all time favourite.

Maths Roll No. 1-11 Make a board game (snakes and ladders) from 1-100 on a cardboard (20inch*20inch). Roll No. 12-21 Design a crazy hat using all the 2D as well as 3D Geometrical shapes. Examples - Cowboy hat, Birthday cap, Tribal hat, Magician's hat etc. Roll No.- 22-35 Tangram is an old Chinese puzzle consisting of flat pieces of shapes called 'tans'. Tangram has either 5 or 7 pieces. The pieces can be cut out and interesting shapes can be made using them. Make any 4 animals using tangram as shown in the picture. Instructions for making a tangram Make a square on a white sheet. Draw lines Colour each part using different colours. Cut them and arrange to make an animal. We also use train and aeroplanes to visit far away places. We buy tickets to travel within our country India but do you know that if we go to some other country such as USA what all do you need to carry apart from the ticket. Yes, it is a PASSPORT. 1. Make a passport of India and USA depicting all the details in the passport (size ½ A-4 size sheet) 2. Interesting facts of India and USA by comparing them. - Paste pictures and write 2-3 short sentences on A-4 sheet. (compile and decorate well) Roll No. 12-21 There are three Traffic Training Parks in Delhi. Visit any one of them. Paste real pictures of your visit. Collect pamphlets and information of the same. Draw the traffic signs on A4 size sheet that we should observe and follow.

Birds can feed out seeds from the holes on sides of the water bottle. It is super easy to refill by the cap on the top of the water bottle. So get the material and get started. Materials needed Plastic bottle, pencils, bird seeds, twigs, knife / blade. Make a banner using half pastel sheet of any colour on the theme "Me and my Environment". The banner should have some visuals and a catchy slogan related to the theme.
