Akelius needs managers and specialists with more up to date specialized knowledge than what universities offer. One third of thousand employees works with research and development. four programs asset management construction finance digital development The programs are divided in four to six sessions where you work in different areas. Depending on which program you follow, you will work within property and asset management construction letting finance accounting business analysis and controlling IT and technology transactions and valuations

The first two or three sessions will be done at your home office. The last two or three sessions will be done in Europe or North America in Stockholm, Malmö, Copenhagen, Berlin, Hamburg, London, Paris, New York, Boston, Washington D.C, Toronto or Montreal. Your own interests and suitability, as well as the company s needs, will determine your placement after the program. asset management In the asset management program you will learn about residential real estate during two years. You will work with letting of apartments, property and asset management, business analysis and controlling, transactions and valuations. Our property business is presently divided in 57 branches. A branch consists of three to eight employees and is responsible for 300 2,200 apartments or MEUR 100-500 in property value. construction In the construction program you will learn about residential real estate in general, but specifically about upgrading and renovations of apartments and properties. Every year we invest EUR 3-4 billion in upgrading our properties. Peng Wang, construction manager, Toronto I am in charge of different construction projects. It can be balconies, energy projects, elevators and a lot of extreme makeovers of apartments. finance In the finance program you will work with group accounting, treasury, business analysis, controlling, transactions and valuations. You work on group level in an international environment.

Sandra Blomqvist, group treasurer, Stockholm Treasury is responsible for international funding through different instruments. Loans, five billion euro, to finance our assets, eleven billion euro. In average we buy 1.5 properties per week. transformation lead or project leader In the digital development program you will initially learn about residential real estate in general in order to be a high performing transformation lead, project leader, within the technology department. We have ten self-developed applications, twenty parallel projects and a budget of MEUR 12. Akelius business school As a junior executive, residential real estate you will participate in our internal MBA at Akelius business school. The MBA is a mix of e-learning and traditional education. You get classroom education in places like Berlin, Stockholm, Toronto, Cyprus and Florida. The education is based on real cases in three countries. You develop a project or you write a textbook in a specialized subject. Akelius Business School is located in Berlin. In our Berlin office, with 300 employees, we have our own roof top restaurant with outdoor terraces, gym, pre-school, prayer room and apartments for students. offices Asset management and construction junior executives can be based in one of the following cities; Stockholm, Malmö, Berlin, Hamburg, London, Paris, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Boston, Washington D.C. Digital development are based in Berlin and finance are based in Stockholm. You will start in September 2018. During the two years you will get a remuneration of GBP 28,000 per year, plus paid travels and accommodation in seminars. Students having passed the exams are granted an executive or specialist job position within Akelius Group. I truly appreciate the opportunities that Akelius has been giving me. I started with Akelius in 2013 as Head of Finance in Canada. A year later, I was promoted to Country Manager, Canada. Now I am in my third mission as Head of North America from January 2018. I am actively involved with implementation of projects and processes as well as helping and guiding city managers. As Head of North America, I am responsible for 400 employees, for 10,000 apartments in Washington D.C, New York, Boston, Toronto and Montreal to a total value of EUR 2.3 billion. Pål Ahlsén, CEO Akelius group I started at Akelius in 2004. My first task was to sell Akelius deposit products via meetings and telephone. I moved on to work with property transactions. In the end of 2005 I moved to Berlin for the start-up of operation in Germany. I soon became CEO of Akelius in Germany. In 2010, I became CEO for the whole group. As CEO for the group, I am responsible for 1,000 employees, for 50,000 apartments in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, England, Canada and US to a total value of EUR 11 billion. My mission is to double the equity every seventh year.

Julia Reif, business developer As a junior executive, I spent my sessions abroad in Stockholm, where I worked with corporate controlling and business analysis and in Toronto, where I focused on transactions and valuation. Both stays abroad gave me the opportunity to think outside the box and learn about new markets. My tasks were complex and I worked independently with a high level of responsibility. Eric Hansson, head of Stockholm The experiences and skills I picked up during my time as a junior executive, residential real estate have been priceless to me. Today I am City Manager for Stockholm, responsible for 54 employees and 7.971 apartments.

Andreas Börjesson, head of Copenhagen Central As a junior executive, residential real estate I gained diversified experiences throughout the whole chain of business and deeper understanding and insights in the company s values, culture and ambitions. After ending the program in Paris I got the opportunity to be part of a start-up in a new city, Copenhagen. Today my position is Head of Copenhagen Central where I am focusing on growth through acquisitions and adding value to our existing portfolio. As Head of the branch Copenhagen Central, I am responsible for seven employees, for 1,031 apartments and 45 commercial facilities to a total value of MEUR 300. Filip Gustavsson, manager Transaction and valuation I started as junior executive in 2014. I have been involved in a number of Akelius transactions in Sweden, including the largest Swedish real estate deal in 2017 where we sold for MEUR 250 in one transaction. All in all I was involved in transactions with 4,125 apartments amounting to a value of MEUR 800.
