. General Information.. General terms and conditions General terms and conditions is a system supplier for metal construction. RP systems are intended for use by specialist companies, who are familiar with recognised guidelines and regulations for steel and metal construction work and have a pre-acquired knowledge of the appropriate standards as well as the regulations and practices of the sector. For coatings including pretreatments, recommendations of the coating industry should be considered and the details of the possibilities and conditions should be clarified before placing coating orders with the respective coating companies. The provision of technical information, consultation and proposals are services provided free of charge. They offer non-binding suggestions to planning and implementing companies. It is up to the user, however, to examine such information and decide whether it is suitable for all aspects of his respective application. RP parts are distributed under protection of registered trade marks. The construction of components is tested and certified. When damage results from the use of non-rp components, not only is liability no longer accepted but also the test certificates issued for that construction are no longer valid. When systems are being made from rust-free stainless steels, it should be remembered that not all the accessory components are available in such rust-free stainless steel. When employed in highly corrosive environments, such accessory components should be greased. Special solutions will be built on-site by metal construction specialists taking particular care, since these solutions will not be covered by the usual systematic checks. Equally, components manufactured at the factory must be checked for completeness and proper function before installation. All data, explanations and illustrations in the technical documents were compiled and arranged with the greatest possible care and with the best knowledge. Nevertheless, it is not possible to exclude errors completely. We cannot accept responsibility or liability for the use of proposals, illustrations or data. The fire door and fire resistant partition system,, was developed for this purpose with its steel frameworks and fire resistant fillings. It offers the required protection against the effects of fire. Steel is always preferred to other materials for door systems that are in very frequent use. Steel is highly resistant, long-lasting, shockproof and stable. Moreover, with the demand for ever larger components, steel gains ever more significance because of its general static advantages. The outstanding characteristics of steel are reflected in the attachment of the hinges. Steel guarantees the permanent location of the hinges. The bolt can be drawn back from inside or outside using the key and is simultaneously coupled with the inner and outer handles. When locking the doors, the bolt is drawn back and simultaneously coupled with inner and outer handles. It is then not possible to open the door from inside or outside without a key. Passage is always possible by operating the handle. Escape direction Escape direction Use For door systems which must on occasions guarantee passage from the inside and outside, whilst at other times must be impassable from outside. In principle, the door can always be opened from the danger side. (Escape door function) Danger side operation (with pre-closed bolt) The door has a handle on the danger side and/or a panic bar. Through operation of the handle and/or panic bar the latch and the pre-closed bolt are withdrawn. The door can then be opened. External operation (with pre-closed bolt) The door has a handle on the outside. With the bolt drawn back the nut is switched to no-load operation. When the bolt is reinserted the nut remains in no-load operation. The nut is only re-engaged after a turn of the key and the door can then be opened using the handle. Accessory part no. 2 00 - Screw in the M5x6 threaded pin [0] to the break-in protection from above and behind on the leaf part [6] with the leaf open, and tighten firmly. - Press the bush [4] into the frame hinge support [3]. - Press the spacer bush [7] into the leaf profile [6]. - Insert two M6 blind rivet nuts [] into the outer holes on the doorframe profile - Attach the frame hinge support [3] and if necessary feed the spacer plate [2] underneath and secure it using two M6x20 trilobular countersunk screws [5] (for overlying door leaves install spacer plate [6]). Drilling pattern 5 Ø 4.5 - Screw in the leaf hinge support [] using two M5x2 trilobular counter sunk screws [2]. Ø5.2 37.5 6 30 72 30 - Set the leaf part [6] into the leaf hinge support [], so that the drilled holes in the leaf part [6] and the hinge support [] align (null position). Tighten both parts and insert three threaded M6x4 trilobular counter sunk screws [3] and tighten firmly. - For break-in protection of the leaf hinge support [] bore out the cross-shaped slots in the heads of the M5x2 countersunk screws [2] (alternatively stitch weld in the handle region, see). - Join the frame and leaf supports together and insert plug-in axle [] from above (the safety lug on the pin head must engage with the roller opening). Screw the plug-in pin [] to the stud [9] from below. - Install and complete the door. The leaf can be aligned by loosening the screws [3]. Tighten the screws firmly after aligning. Next, one of the six unused drill holes must he drilled out to 5 mm and a centring pin [4] knocked in to prevent any shifting. (If necessary the door can be readjusted several times). - Clip the cover cap [5] over the upper edge of the leaf part [6]. Ensure that a distance of 4 mm is maintained between the leaf frames in the middle overlapping leaf region! Use the spacers!. Hinge part should be joined to hinge part 2 with the stated steel pin 3 and with ball bearing 5. 2. The leaf framework should be inserted into the external framework, using the appropriate spacer pieces in the chambers, and adjusted accurately. Please ensure that the clearance of the doors is at least 4 mm, and that the external edges of the leaves are evenly aligned. 3. The welded-on hinge, part 2, is attached to the external framework and, with the lug of part, pushed to lie parallel against the forward edge of the leaf framework. Insertion of an approx. mm thick folded metal strip (6) automatically provides the necessary gap to the doorframe profile. 4. The hinges are held in place in this situation using fastening clamps and cleanly attached to the accessible longitudinal welds. After this the leaves are opened, the ball-shaped bearing (5) removed, and the counter weld seam is made to the hinge parts. Then the previously attached parts are welded. 5. After cleaning and cooling of the weld seam, the ball bearing (5) is reinserted and the leaf remounted. 6. The leaves are checked and possibly realigned. 7. The plastic end (4) is pushed on once the work is completed.
