Technical Workshop & Exhibition for Foundry Engineers Inspection capabilities for tomorrow s foundry May 10-12, 2017 Orea Hotel VORONĚŽ - Congress Hall. Brno, Czech Republic Hosted by SPL/CICA [ALUCAST, PBS VELKA VITES & LANIK] & The Brno Technical Museum
Product quality standards have become increasingly demanding as international competition raises customer expectations for quality products. High value components with challenging inspection requirements have led to the development of sophisticated technologies for dimensional conformance, surface quality and metallurgical integrity inspection. These technologies, together with advanced data analytics, are providing foundries with the tools to provide world leading products for their customers. The EICF has selected state of the art Inspection Technologies for their biennial EURO WORKSHOP to give foundry engineers an insight into the latest inspection methods for assuring product conformance and demonstrating process consistency. The workshop will include presentations on advanced inspection technologies and data analytical methods, case studies given by international experts in their specialist fields and a supplier exhibition focusing on inspection-related technologies. EICF workshops provide delegates with an opportunity to network and share experiences with fellow engineers. Suppliers and customers will also have the opportunity to meet and discuss products in an informal atmosphere. INSPECTION CAPABILITIES FOR TOMORROW s FOUNDRY- BEST PRACTICE WORKSHOP FOR FOUNDRY PRACTITIONERS The workshop programme includes: - An evening Reception Party at the Brno Technical Museum (including a casting show) - One-day seminar with 14 lectures at Voronez Hotel - Concurrent table exhibition of inspection and foundry technologies at Voronez Hotel (18 exhibitors) - Workshop dinner - One-day visit to selected foundries and ceramic factories. To complement the workshop seminar, delegates will have the opportunity to visit a modern manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic. These visits will be held on 12th May following the formal workshop and delegates are invited to select one of these factories: - Aluminium Investment Casting ALUCAST - Superalloy Investment Casting PBS Velka Vites - Core & Ceramics Manufacturing Facility LANIK Venue : Hotel Voronez 1 Congress Hall A for seminars Congress Hall B+C for exhibition http://www.oreahotelvoronez.cz/en/ Workshop Hotels : 1.- OPTION 1 : OREA Voroněž I Room rate 64 /night. http://www.orea.cz/en/reservation/?price_group=1125899906842624&action=c_1&date_in=2017-05- 10&date_out=2017-05-12&guide_id=822&hotel_id=3609&user_language=en&resnoso 2.- OPTION 2 : OREA Voroněž II Room rate 43/night. http://www.orea.cz/en/reservation/?price_group=281474976710656&action=c_1&date_in=2017-05- 10&date_out=2017-05-12&guide_id=822&hotel_id=3611&user_language=en&resnoso
