Two types of digitalization Information digitalization (English: digitization) a process in which information is transformed from analogue to digital, making the information structurable, searchable and accessible through the digital channels. Social digitalization (English: digitalization) is the change of society, working life, business, technology use and the new business conditions that arise from the opportunities offered by the technology. Digital technology allows us to do things in completely different ways than we could before, but it also gives us the opportunity to do brand new things. The social and human-revolving process that gradually becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish at all from any part of life. This means that individuals and organizations can communicate and exchange information with other people, organizations and their environment in new ways. Digitalization and the use of ICTbased solutions can help to increase the accessibility and efficiency of both the business and public administration. (SOU 2014:13, SOU 2015:91) Digitalization is business development where the opportunities that the technology offer can be a driving force in the transformation. Digitalization is an ongoing process not a project that should be finnished by 2020, but a continuously ongoing transformation process. Digitalization needs to happen both topdown and bottom-up where the strategic documents and plans are only means to achieve the main goals, that is the change process involving everybody. 4

Multi-, Inter-, Transdisciplinarity Disruptive innovation an innovation that helps create a new market and value network, and eventually disrupts an existing market and value network, displacing an earlier technology. It describes innovations that improve a product or service in ways that the market does not expect, typically first by designing for a different set of consumers in a new market and later by lowering prices in the existing market. 18
End-user innovation User innovation the idea that more users and consumers are the innovators of new products instead of suppliers. Lead users individuals who first feel the need for a product or service and create it for themselves.
